I wouldn't doubt that! He's pretty big but I've always heard that it's just his body shape, not weight. Not saying he's not strong or anything.

It's addicting.

Not to turn this into a Conor thread but Conor is really a 170+ lb person fighting at 145.  At 145, on fight night, he has more muscle mass, height, reach and probably power than those who are fighting at 145.

He struggled and lost against Diaz because Diaz is very similar to him.  Conor had no weight, reach or power advantage, it was a much more even fight that Nate eventually won because he's more accustomed to being in top physical condition at 170 than Conor was.

Guys like GSP (who refused to go up a weight class to fight Anderson Silva) and Silva (who refused to go up and fight Jon Jones) were afraid to go up in weight class for the same reasons Conor lost.  At the higher weight class they would be giving up too much of the advantage they enjoy at their current weight class.

This brought back memories of my wrestling days and cutting weight..  I think the most memorable weight loss experience was 10 lb in 2 days.. Basically I was 140 lb wrestling in the 135 division and the coach had a "brilliant" idea of me wrestling in the 130 lb class because of the match ups..

I was in good shape back then, and everyone around me did this sort of thing.  We never considered the dangers of what we were doing, and I'm not sure I would agree for my kid to do it.

Good luck bro.
