Ideal Spin Rates and Launch Angles for Driver

Does anyone know if there is a chart or a general rule of thumb for these things? I know that it depends on swing speed and some other factors but my searches have yielded inconsistent results. I plan on going to the pro I take lessons from who is a top 100 club fitter among other accolades but before I spend the $ to do this and buy a new driver I want to do my due diligence and make sure what Ive got isn't as good as it gets. Club head speed with driver is 105 mph.

You'll get different spin rates depending upon where your angle of attack and loft meets the ball in addition to where you hit the ball on the club face. If you play to a 4 HC, you probably hit it fairly consistently on the club face at least within a 1/4 inch area. You shouldn't be all over the place like some of us. 

It also will depend upon the balls you're hitting as well. Range balls will tend to spin more than premium balls. Also some places will use a low spinning ball like a Bridgestone E6 in their fitting areas. 

What I see is total spin numbers averaging between 1800 - 2400 rpm is good for your SS. Just going by pro Mark Crossfield who has a similar SS to yours.

Interesting. People I play with have been wondering how I get so much roll out on my drives. According to the chart I'm supposed to be getting 2500 - 3000 rpm but on the GC2 I'm getting 2200. "Knuckle ball!"

Unless your SS is 100+ this chart might be more useful:

I think GC2 reads a little low on SS and spin numbers for some reason.

The difference in spin numbers is insignificant until you get over 115 mph.

2200 is already really low spin. What's your launch angle?

14 degrees. There's a sweet spot on my driver that when I hit it, the spin will drop from 2500 to 2200. I'll get maximum carry distance and roll. Unfortunately I don't hit it consistently. There are days.... Loft on the driver is 11.5 degrees, but I tend to present the club face slightly forward at impact even though I'm hitting up. That itself will lower spin.

You can experiment with any numbers you want, but spin is the more important one. If you can keep the spin below 2000 the launch angle hardly matters until you go extremely high or low

Looks familiar. I posted this link above but also gave a 155mph seed number and chart to show why 155.

Above midline (high), slightly toe-side I would bet.
