Looks like a lot of hands and arms to me. Snatching the club up quickly with the arms and hands so the clubhead/arms have too much momentum to stop properly at the top. Perhaps get the hands more passive and read some of the info in this thread.

Set up closer to the ball so your not stretching your arms out so much. This helps facilitate the move you have of snatching the club inside quickly.

Once you get into a better set up. I would work trying to stop turning your wrists over early in the backswing. You want them to hinge more vertical and less turning over. Let the turn carry your hands inward and let your arms go more upward. Work on seeing more of your right shoulder between the space of your left and right arms at near the top of the backswing.

Also, next time you post a DTL view, put the camera down your toe line.

Yep this @Duchman. Forearms rotate and the club rolls well inside the hands. This piece causes your swing to be so long because of how shallow the shaft loads on the backswing.

Some drills to help.

This is a big deal to me, and just want to emphasize not overlooking it. Once you try making changes it might at first feel like the club is completely underneath you.

    • Going to a Friendsgiving tomorrow and I am bringing a no-bake cheesecake. I make the crust too big, but I think it turned out good. The filling is really good.
    • Sure, but how was your alignment? 🙂 Day 53 - 2024-11-22 Mirror work after getting back home. Wife is a superstar for her career/job/whatever.
    • I would say your back nine is the second nine you play that day. It's part of what makes getting some of those holes tougher. Or, if 18 holes are played pretty often, out of A, B, and C, and you often play A and C, A is the front and C is the back, regardless of the order you play them in. That way not birdieing C #7 isn't overcome by birdieing the easier A #7 on a day you played it C-A instead of A-C. But, at the end of the day, nobody really cares except yourself.
    • Day 128: played 9. Nice little even 9, with 2 birdies and 2 bogeys.
    • @DeadMan, I think your approach makes sense. As @dennyjones said, consistency is the key.
