I started cleaning out a storage unit I have had for several years yesterday. Most of the stuff I picked out to toss or give away is golf related.

Found 6 putters I had forgotten about. Several drivers I was vaguely familiar with. I picked up a Taylor Made stand bag that was so old the bottom fell out of it. A nice set of persimmon woods were located. Even found a set of irons I thought were in Texas. Some pleasant memories were had. Found a bunch of golf balls I had collected over the years. Even a set of junior clubs that might make some youngster happy.

Most all of this stuff is going to the local golf course, to their resident teaching pro. I have 10 milk crates full of golf balls they have already accepted for their driving range.

The putters were the best. All I could do was shake my head, grin, and think to myself why even paid for these critters in the first place.

Anyone remember "The Heavy" putter? LOL

Ha ha!  I have an old Boccieri "Heavy Putter" in my office, along with a couple other old putters.  I pick it up every so often for a little carpet putting practice.
