Carry Pull Cart or Ride?

If I'm playing solo, I walk/carry.  If the cart is included in the green fee, I'll ride.  One of my local courses requires a cart, so I ride there.

Am I the only one who doesn't like the backpack style carry/stand bags?  I end up one strapping with it and I find it annoying.

Like @Mac62 said in the summer it is not an option when you live in the desert. Since I play with a group that always ride and they own their own carts as well, I do a hybrid approach, in that I walk to green from my second/third hot most of the time.

I carry but wouldn't mind getting a really nice pull cart some day. I only ride if it's suggested by my playing partner.

Ha, the guy on Altered Course has the same bag I use. The black Ping bag. It is a good bag for carrying.

Not sure I would carry this one.

Would love to walk a course sometime, but I play with my dad mostly and his arthritis does not agree. I just go jogging a few times a month. Would not be opposed to pull carts though if I did walk, carrying seems a bit unhealthy on the neck imo unless you're pretty stout.

When I play alone, I have a push cart (caddy-tek - love it!). When I play with others, I ride. Walking gives me a little more time to think about the next shot and I actually don't feel as rushed getting in and out of a cart all the time.
