Tour Edge GT+ ( Backdraft) irons

I know that these are not top of the line clubs, but I just picked up a set, 4h, 5-pw for $20! And I have to say.....best $20 I have ever spent. I would put them in the sgi category but they still performed beyond what I expected. The guy didn't have the 3h but that's ok with me.

Tour Edge makes good stuff... I swear by their Exotics line... Some of the Exotics irons are better than others... However even the lower line stuff is good... Their box sets are better than most box sets you'd ever see. Tour Edge's value line Bazooka, targets average golfers. (Hot Launch falls under the Bazooka line.) You can spend less than $1000 on a new full set of quality clubs with a limited lifetime warranty.

Great find for $20... Those are decent clubs for the time being.

IMO TEE makes the best clubs for the $$ out there. Not popular so new last years model iron sets are cheap. I think I paid $159 for my TEE CB Pro H set. Previous TEE iron set was CU's and I paid just over $200 and those came with KBS shafts. Those are my backup sit in the office iron but I use TEE fairways and hybrids daily.

I'm thinking I will give tour edge a closer look when I'm ready for a new set, the exotics look pretty nice

Even getting last year's model on clearance isn't a bad move with Tour Edge... I paid almost $3k on mine... But I absolutely love them.

      First going to spain for a long weekend in March probably going to play La Quinta, Los Arqueros and Fina Cortesin, and first week in May will compete in the Crawsnest Tassie at Carnoustie golf links, that will be a full week of golf golf golf and more golf. Did play it last year for the first time and it is awesome.

      Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.

      I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
