Round 4 today with Alex Noren in the lead at -12 ,two ahed of Tyrrel Hatton and Matteo Manaserro.

Andy Sullivan and Graeme Mcdowell at -8.

Great bunch up the top, certainly. Noren's played so well over the last three days - hope he holds it together for the final round. Great to see Manassero back up there again after a long time since his breakthrough. Tyrell Hatton also has a history of getting into the Open through the Scottish, so look for him to do well.

A great 66 from Phil today but somehow I think there will be a few more 66's today.

Coverage has been great in Qatar on the OSN channel.A full days coverage everyday,hardly any adverts. Wayne Grady and Sam Torrance doing a great job with the commentating AND ZERO TALKING HEADS.

I think Noren will hold it together but I'd like to see Mcdowell and Sullivan push him.

Congrats Alex Noren.

The 4 Open spots went to Hatton,Colsaerts,Manaserro and Richie Ramsey.

The cameraman cut to a jet taking off at Inverness airport for a few seconds,it was Phil on his way to Prestwick airport.

A big "well done" also to Andy Murray for winning his 2nd Wimbledon title.

Really good from Noren and the Scottish has done its main job - getting people excited for the Open. I'm visiting Ayrshire a week after the Open, playing Turnberry and Western Gailes which are just a few miles away from Troon. Could not be more excited for this tournament.
