I saw this video of Patrick Reed playing on a very steep slope and wondered if he would have been better off planting his keester on the slope and just using an upper body swing.

But then I wondered if that was legal. I've seen shots played from both knees, but not from a sitting or lying down position. If someone did it, what would the ruling be?

The player may stand, kneel, sit, lie or stand on his head to play a legitimate stroke.
