My dad told me a story of how him and 3 buddies played a round at Nags Head Golf Links in NC a few years back. Pretty tough course with a lot of blind shots. Anyways one of his friends ended up losing 34 balls. Paid more for balls than green fees

Holy crap.

We go to OBX every year and Nags Head is one of the few courses down there that I have never played. That rather confirms why.

I've lost over a dozen in a round, though it was straight after a lesson and I was using balls that were less than $1 a piece so I didn't put much effort into looking for the ones that went wayward.

KICK THE FLIP!!
