If you like the alignment aid then I suggest taking a look at the XR16. They have the aerodynamic features but not the fusion part. They can obtained for less and have a healthy second hand market as well. 

I tested the XR16 and really liked it. Definitely a couple of extra yards when I got one.

I tested the XR16 at the same time as my current driver. I appreciate the input though, it's possible I will end up waiting anyway due to it being so close to the of the season, probably doesn't make a whole lot of sense to purchase a new club right now. It will depend on what the price is in the end.

I tested the Fusion today with the stock shaft, it's about 7-10 yards longer than the XR-16 is for me.  I hit 10 drives with each on a GC2, I swapped drivers after each hit so there wasn't a chance that I was less warmed up or more tired with one.
