Anyone use Lamkin Crossline Cord grips? Any feedback?

I have used them for 4 years now and love them. I bought some Decade Multicompound Cords from Golf Pride for the 2008 season coming up for a change of pace, but would use Lamkin Crossline's again in a heart beat. I play golf in very hot and humid conditions and they hold up very well. I am going to test the Golf Pride ones this season coming up to compare.

Ping hoofer bag Ping G15 10.5* Driver, stock reg shaft Ping G15 3 metal, Aldila 75g Stiff shaft Ping G15 5 metal, Aldila 75g Stiff shaft Mizuno MP 69 3-PW irons, DG S300 shafts Mizuno MP R12 black nickel 52* and 56* gap and sand wedges, DG spinner W+ shafts Mizuno 20* FLiHi Clk hybrids, Project X 5.5 shaft 25 year old Bulls Eye putter, 33" or Ping Anser 2 Scottsdale 34" First round of golf was in 1963 at age 10. Best round -1. 2 Holes-In-One.

thanks for responding. I'm using New Decades right now too. I should pick up a couple of Lamkins and give them a try.

I have one on my lob wedge, and I plan on using them when I get other clubs re-gripped.

I have the lamkin full cord grips on all of my clubs and I love them. Stopped wearing a glove because of the humidity in Mississippi and these don't slip at all.

I don't use lamkins but I use Winn g8 v17 technology and I will never use another kind of grip. When they get wet they stick to your hands even more for better contact. they are just a greta feeling grip.

      I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.
