Anybody ever play?  I think the idea of an 8" hole sounds interesting.  Gonna play in a Big Hole Scamble next month.

I never have, but I would try the 8" hole just for fun if I got the opportunity.  I don't think I'd do the 15" hole...just doesn't seem right.

Nope.  No interest at all.

90% (or more) of the putts left short do not go in the hole.

One of the exec course had the big hole cut in the green along with the regulation cup last year. The big cup didn't last long, a few months maybe and then it/they were gone

I could see them losing more real play than they gain in big-hole play.

Um...according to a source I just made up, it's closer to 95%...
