Some Server Software Updates

Earlier today we updated the site's server software (and accessory software) to PHP 7 from PHP 5. This should yield a faster experience, and will set the site up to handle IPS (the forum software) version 4.2 soon.

IPS 4.2 is nice and will offer many features, including Clubs:

Staff can see this IPS 4.2 note, which we may move into a public viewing area soon (trust me, nothing in the staff forum is all that secretive, it's just… boring. :-))

ImageMagick, Apache, MySQL, and a bunch of other really small things were updated as well:

Since the update, I've not been able to see the drop down menu items using either Chrome, Firefox or MS Edge. Everything else seems to work.   It's like the menu items are white on white coloring because I can still click on the white space and select different menu items even though I can't see the choice. 

Something on my end?

No, I hadn't noticed those, but they should be a dark green now.

You may need to clear your browser cache, but probably not… the new CSS files are usually pretty good about being marked as new files here on the site.

Also, thank you for pointing that out.
