Non golfers understanding of the game of golf

When my wife started playing, she was under the impression that all golfers were nearly as good as the guys we watch on TV.  Her rationale was 'because they make it look so EASY!'  I assured her that  certainly wasn't the case.

She nearly fell out of the cart from laughing so hard when I 'rolled one' with a fairway metal.

Non-golfers have interesting perspectives on the game and the level of difficulty associated with 'hitting that little white ball.'

I do really like my boss. 

Occasionally, she'll let me off a bit early and say maybe I can get in some golf. Usually this is with about an hour of daylight left .
