"My golfing career has been played in parallel with a number of players who are currently on the Senior Tour," said Davies in a statement. "I'm really looking forward to testing my wits against them."

Not sure what she means by that. She played shorter courses from the ladies tees her whole career...so....anyway.

Perhaps she just means she played her career at the same time as some of the guys out there now...I'm interested to see how she does.

That's the way I read it, that the prime of her career was going on at the same time as Couples and Langer.  Good luck to her!
