i wanna improve my golf HEEPS my aim is to get down to 5 by the end of the year but the problem is with school and the gym i hav no time to practice golf
here is my time slot.

i hav to b at school 8.30 school starts at 9-3.20 get home at 3.30
then i got to the gym 3.30-4-30 which leaves me an hour b for it gets dark but for me an hour is not enough time to hav a great practice session

has any one got some ideas or tips or even a plan to help me i really wanna improve my golf

also im doing year 12 so its a big year

If you are serious about that, you might get up earlier and head for the course first? Also why not go to the Gym while its dark or get some practice stuff for your home so that you can maximize the time on the course.

I´m also planning a low Hcp this season but at the moment you cant really play out there so i spent a lot of the time at the gym, but after season starts you will only see me about twice a week there since i will use all my available time (which is a lot so i dont really need to organize it like you do) to practice golf .

Not the gym makes you better at golf but practicing golf does.

First, please refrain from using that text message language. All your "abbreviations" are difficult to read to say the least. I know its tough but you need to spell out the entire word "be", "i" when referring to yourself is capitalized "I", and "hav" is actually spelled with a silent "e" at the end "have". The forum thanks you. As for your question, its like anything else. You have to prioritize. So whats more important, golf or working out? Maybe there's a compromise, switch off golf one day, gym the next. Even though being in shape will help your golf game, nothing but a lot of range and course time is going to lower your handicap. If you want to be a better golfer you are going to have to practice. That being said you can also get the best out of your practice time by having an idea what you want to work on before you get the course. Have a practice plan. Divide your time up intelligently so you make sure you do more than just beat balls on the range. If you have an hour, work short game drills for 40 minutes then work on the full swing. When you work full swing have an idea what in your swing you would like to improve. When you practice smarter you will not need as much time to practice.
