It looks like the General Manager of Bandon Dunes, and KemperSports, is being sued by a female employee for sexual harassment.

It looks like the woman was being sexually harassed for over a decade.

That's funny because it was just reported on by the golf media yesterday, and the report @saevel25 cited was reported on Monday.

I suppose we can give them some credit for fast play in this case. :-P

yeah I was kind of surprised, I googled "Bandon Dunes" and clicked news to see if there were any more articles and that was the first one that showed up.

This sexual harassment thing was/is way out of control, and hopefully these women stepping forward and reporting it will change the way things had been done in the past and hopefully the present and future.

I'd imagine this will open the doors to many other forms of harassment as well.

Golf is interesting. When I first started watching golf and Golf Channel on TV, I immediately noticed the voluptuous women in those little skirts. I was like, wowza. As a football fan I thought we had very pretty faces on the sidelines (bundled up in coats and scarves) but nothing can hold a candle to golf. They make tennis commentators look like librarians. I will stop just short of saying the business of golf objectifies women, because I haven't been around long enough. But it is a curious departure from other sports, almost a kind of throwback.

I think this too, but just like you haven't been around golf too long. I just know that every time a pretty lady or girl hits balls on a driving range a bunch of men gather around her. Then there are the grumpy old men working on their games glaring at us I mean them. It's natural to appreciate pretty ladies, but unnatural to treat them like anything other than fellow golfers or workers.
