Is the hex really a more popular thing among golfers recently?

Showing up in social media a little, guessing it's good for the core? GRF? Is it something that's trending or something that's always been used?

I think it's just growing in popularity in lifting in general because of the comment in the last one: The "Hex Bar" is very useful. Makes desired form easier than straight bar.

I always thought it an oddity. Have seen them in weight rooms, but not all the time.

Look at where his hands are in the Fitzpatrick video. He would have to get those hands out in front of his shins and knees and hips with a straight bar. Regular deadlifts with a straight bar require much more maneuvering and technique.
