My Member Review

Yes I know, it’s a towel. But I’m a bit of a towel addict on the course. I received my Players Towel as a token from TST in exchange for reviewing it so I didn’t deal directly with the company with the order.

That being said, I certainly will be using this towel. On first impression it looks very nice with the TST logo embroidered as well as my name. A fine job done. You can have your towel custom embroidered if you like that sort of thing (can make for a great gift). The towel is large enough to use for club cleaning on one side and for personal use on the other if you like. It’s soft and shouldn’t cause any discomfort to hour hands or face.

The towel actually feels a bit thinner than ClubGlove towels but actually came to like that as it’s lighter. However the Players Towel is every bit as durable.

The slit is slightly smaller than other towels tend to have. But I’ve found the larger slits actually increase the chance of the towel dropping off unless you have it hanging off your driver head when walking. The Players Towel is a better fit I feel. Not sure why the stitching isn’t lined up and somewhat overlapped around the slit. But who cares? Not to mention I appreciate the reinforcement as other towels I’ve used have torn at the slit edges.

I often wet one end for cleaning and the Players Towel is plenty long to allow for that so another plus. It also retained the moisture surprisingly well being that it feels thin. But again, I pulled hard on this towel and it’s well made.

Final test for me was how it would hold up from washing. Absolutely fine. So overall I gotta say I will order a Players Towel when I next need (want) one. The pics shown are after two washes and the colors and fabric have held up just fine.

If you’re a towel user be it on the course or the practice tee this towel can not disappoint you.

The TST logo and your name, to be clear, are dye sublimated. The stitching is along the edges and the putter slit. Dye-Sub is great because it doesn't wear out, doesn't change the consistency of the towel or the feel, etc.

Yes this is true sorry about that. I actually washed it twice (once alone the other with other stuff).... held up great.

    • I'm all in. One of them should just go FULL heel. I've been saying that about Bryson for awhile, but maybe Brooks will beat him to it.
    • Bryson is just asking for more "Brooksie" at this point. I am not sure how this really helps him in anyway to keep participating. How can this not spill over into the fan base with this sort of outward trolling going on? Let your clubs do the talking.  I am waiting for him to say, "I have a fever, and the only prescription is more Brooksie!" 🤣
    • Morning! well Ive been lurking on the outside for some time but after the last few months of grinding out a new swing I thought it was time to reach out and get some feed back that could help with some in round thoughts that have been troubling me.  Just a quick back story picked up the game late im 45 and started playing when i was in my late 20s. didnt start getting serious about the game till about 5-6 years ago . When i started getting serious about the game my swing was still pretty bad my take away was too far inside and had to compensate in other area of my swing creating a hook but still played off of a 10 Handicap ( cant call it a draw because it just moved too much and my miss was way left lol). About 9 months ago  I decided to change everything swingpath, grip and my score dropped bringing me to a 5 handicap . My home course I play, I dont play the tips im not long enough but I play one up from the tips at 6700 yds. The issue I have been experiencing and it never fails I'll start my rounds steady and start to score very well by 9th im normally at even or at times 2 under.  Then comes the thoughts of finishing strong shooting lights out and going low . Instead I start to make dumb mistakes. It never fails right at 11-12th hole im back to mid 70s or just under 80. What are some things you guys are doing to keep that focus on the task . It's like im losing focus ? or is it a consistency thing that needs to be done on the range?
    • I'm a little over an hour away not bad
