Day 420 - 2025-11-24

Light day… did some chipping in a game against Joseph. Won three up over the duration of the holes played.

Day 15 (24 Nov 25) - Simple session of working the 7i and the hard foam balls.  Worked on setup and initial takeaway - hit a few balls to reinforce the drill.

Played a student in a putting game, then played an 18-hole short par three course.

Day 16 (25 Nov 25) - another easy session in the backyard with the Gw and working on flighted chips and pitches.  Good part for me is that I play it as it lies as I rotate thru the stations in the yard….simulates the lies I tend to have to navigate.

Day 422 - 2025-11-26

Did some chipping with a wedge from the basement that I have had for a decade or so. It was fine. Still capable of hitting a variety of shots. Just… flat, wide sole with little bounce. Not my favorite.

Taking a break from full swing work to let myself "forget" it a little bit.

Day 17 (26 Nov 25) - Spent time with the wedges again as left foot has some skin breakdown on the pad area - so big weight shifts, full swings are out for a day or so - big goal, making picky nips that create those lower flying spinny checks for those green side hop and stops.

Getting to lead side with rotation. Mostly used a mirror to check positions.

still working on getting to lead side better, but still remaining flowy. Felt real uncomfortable today for some reason. Hit foam balls.

Day 18 (28 Nov 25) - took yesterday off - picked back up today.  Weekly Friday shootout canceled due to colder temps (upper 30’s - low 40’s kept the regulars home) - playing partner and I played 18.  Was a good day to make weather adjustments regarding carry distances, flighting the ball including dealing with a 2 club hurt wind, etc.

Day 109 11-28

Did some more work with lead side/flow. Recorded swings. Did a few swings, took a short break and went back to practice repeated this several times. Need to keep it slow for now.

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
