Day 361: did some mirror work in the patio door while watching TV. Working on feels to get my hands forward while turning my hips forward.

Day 3: Worked on wedge feels and proper weight transfer using a mirror. Focused on getting my head to not move back in the downswing,

Day 290 - 2025-07-17

Did a lot of mat shuffling today. My mat is not as worn, but is now one section wider for easier drivers/long clubs and easier use of the Quad or GC3.

Day 77 (17 Jul 25) - Weekly nine hole with my friends. Round started rough but smoothed out as we made the turn.  As such the focus was course management by focusing on solid recoveries and not being a hero.  Saw this really shaping up as we made the turn - saw the dbls/triple go to pars and bogies…

Day 362: played mini golf with the kids. A solid +2.

Hit balls after lessons. Got home to watch the British Open, so only hit for about 15 minutes.

Day 78 (18 July 25) - After the Friday shootout round, spent some time hitting the GW in the backyard focused on lower flighted shots.  Had several today that I played short leaving way too long putts for par saves.  Shortened backswing and follow thru were the focus while not decelerating.

Day 363: long day. Just some slow motion practice swings with the mirror. Gotta feel my hands getting really far forward.

Day 3: Worked on backswing. Feel: Matt Wolff, Real: Not yanking it inside and getting it laid off and flat at the top.

Day 79 (19 July 25) - Band rehearsal this morning - got home midafternoon, opted to work more with the magnetic alignment tool with the wedges.  Used it to work on face position at the bottom of the swing arc - followed up with easy pitches up to 50yds.  Seeing better face control and over improved accuracy toward target…session was cut short with pop up rain showers.

Day 364: About an hour and a half practice session. Spent most of it at the range. Did a solid 30 minutes of work on my priority piece, with filming. I think it's improving, but will probably check in on Evolvr to make sure. Then spent the last ~20 minutes putting, working mostly on short putts.

Day 80 (20 Jul 25) - Sunday practice round for the upcoming tournament the first weekend of August - playing partner and I practiced the Texas Scramble format (both tee off, and play own ball in from better of the two tee shots and record the better net score).  A lot of discussion of what would give the better shot in…great session on course management.

Day 293 - 2025-07-20

Practiced and recorded some swings downtown. Need to record more. It is extreme.

Day 365 (!!!) - did the yardstick putting drill while watching the British Open this morning. 
 

Side note - my steak likely ends today, which is kind of cool. I’m going on a family vacation without golf stuff this week. So either I’m getting really creative with my 5 minutes, or I’ll start a new streak on Saturday. &nbsp

Day 81 (21 July 25) - Soft hands drill work today w/9i in the backyard.  Focused on keeping the hands quiet and getting a nice hop and roll.  Kept shots to about 20 yds or less.

Practiced for a good two hours. A bit laid off, a bit cupped, and then throw it with the back of the right hand.
