I would guess something like this is out there, just surprised it took me so long to run into it. I like that you can turn it to get a hilly lie and ball below or above feet. Probably need to keep the surface springy to keep ball from rolling off. About $3K. I'm more uncomfortable with downhill shots but they come off better if that makes any sense. Prefer above feet over below. Wonder how hard this thing is to carry around and transport.

Ive been doing the same thing for years by putting an old shoe or something under a hitting matt. Its actually how i thought myself how to hit off of downhill lies, which i used to really really struggle with. Save yourself a couple G's and do it low tech.

Was this on Fore Inventors Only?

And @nevets88, balls only roll away at (70/stimp) % slope.

Not what I’m saying. I think they had this on that show.

This one?

Looks like a different guy. Amazing how marketing and video has changed in 10 years.

So it's (the current one) 85 pounds, there are two models, 8 degrees, 4 degrees. Here's how it goes on a cart.

Here's how you turn it and set it up for grass vs hard surface.

Eh. Yeah, same idea. I don't know how much of an improvement it is… at $2,575.00. :-)

Nothing you couldn't really do with a round piece of plywood and a board you use to change the angle. For $2500+ you could make a pretty good one of your own.

Yeah, it's pricey. I wonder if there are already plans out there for one.

    • When it comes to set up routine in regards to alignment, I generally prefer my students to: 1) clubface, 2) chest and 3) feet. When the foot alignment happens before chest alignment, we tend to have issues.  I use this example often. I did an introductory flight for flight school, as a student gave me a certificate for it. As most new flyers are, I was staring at the instruments trying to be perfect. I was doing a 30 degree turn and didn’t realize the nose dropped. It had felt normal. The instructor said I had to learn what flat/level is in the air. Kind of a funny thing to say. He said to look at the horizon and nose and recognize their relationship, in order to determine level.  In golf, we see straight from behind the ball. But, when we set up to the ball, we lose what “straight” is. Have someone hold an alignment stick across your chest when you are in full set up and recognize where your lead shoulder is pointing in relation to your target.
