One layer of tape increases the grip diameter by approximately one hundredth of an inch.  There are other factors: the butt diameter of the shaft, the core size of the grip, and the tape itself.  Five layers gets you close to mid-sized but nowhere near jumbo.

This should help give you a general guideline.  Like @Piz mentioned, there are several variables that have an effect on the end result, so be aware of that.

Also, in my experience, building up a standard size grip to midsize will not have the exact feel of an actual midsize grip.  It's because a midsize grip tapers differently than a standard grip. I'm not saying it feels bad or anything, it just feels different.  If you need a midsize and prefer a more parallel-type grip that feels bigger in the lower hand, build up a standard size.  If you like more taper, use an actual midsize.

I happily use 5 papers on my driver using Lamkin Standard UTX grip. Is this equivalent to Midsize or Jumbo ?

I’d say it’s equivalent to 5 papers on a Standard Lamkin UTX grip. Comfort is the most important imo.
