It may be common sense to you, thank goodness, but not for me - I  must refresh my memory once in a while because I get away from Stan's approach. Stan has a lot of technique as in putting, which does not work for me. But the chipping and short pitching tech does wonders. It takes practice on the course, too. It's one thing on a practice green with decent grass; it's another in the rough, on tight lies, going uphill and downhill.

I see so many guys at the range using arms and pulling, and I must keep my mouth shut. lol.

I only meant that it is "good common-sense stuff"  when you watch the video. Taking it to the course and maintaining it is something else. ... I've seen and practiced ideas that were at least similar to this and it helps as long as I stay on it. Then you get away from it and things really go to hell.

Always good to have things like this to refer back to.

Probably too late to help, but I bought some used Cleveland RTX 3 CB wedges from rock bottom golf a few weeks ago. I forgot which rating they were, "excellent" or "like new", one of those and yes, those 2 are different on their site. They showed virtually no wear at, we're $55 each.

In the bag:

Driver: :tmade: '07 Burner Draw 10.5
3/4 Hybrid: :adams: Idea a205
Irons: :tmade: Burner Plus

Yeah. Since I was just a few days away from my club championship, I didn't want to mess with online.

I got a Tommy Armor GXT for $80 last week. That gave me a chance to practice with it before hand. It is a hell of an improvement over what I had in the bag prior.

Ended up in a tie for first place (after the other guy didn't want the playoff).

I was hesitant to buy used, especially since I couldn't actually see the clubs, but in the future, as long as I stick in that "almost new" tier, I would definitely buy used again to save money.

Congrats on the 1st place tie.
