SC Newport 2

I was browsing around a pawn shop and found a little diamond in the rough. 2008 Scotty Cameron Newport 2. The heads a little beat up but the grip and shaft are excellent and the paint fill looks decent. $106, a steal in my eyes

Great find! I have 2 Scotty's and love both of them. They were given to me as gifts. The first was a gift from a friend for being a groomsman in his wedding. It was my gamer for about 6 years. It's a Sonoma (he got married in Sonoma). The other that's in the bag now was a Christmas gift from my wife. It's a 2016 Newport. I plan to pass them along to my son some day.

After seeing some posts online, on how they are being cloned, should I be worried? or does this look legit? I really don't want to send $75 to Titleist just to find out

That I'm not sure. I don't know how to spot a clone. Mine were purchased new from authorized sellers. Did you demo it and like how it played? Maybe you can ask what the return policy is. Then buy it and do some research on that specific model/year. If you suspect it's a fake you can always return it.

Good find. I have two SC putters that I got on eBay. I paid a little over $100 each. People get rid of perfectly good clubs for odd reasons. Have fun with it.
