Agree with this.  There are two shots that are best done with a high-lofted wedge.

Deep bunkers and really really short chips.  You could do them with a 56 degree but it is just harder.

I’ve had so much trouble with my hybrids that I recently picked up a 7 wood. Unlike my 3 wood I can hit with it off the tee AND from the deck.
