I have just bought a second hand Ping Zing putter which is a little bit too heavy for me. I see there are two screws in the head which are holding a black strip of metal, which I am assuming is a weight. If this is the case does anyone know where I could buy some lighter weights for it please?

What's the headweight? What's the length?

How do you know it's "too heavy"?

My putter, according to the specs weighs 900 grams. It's even called a "Heavy Putter". Love it, once I becames use to it.

Maybe the OP can take out the screws, and plate and use it that way?

I took the putter to an experienced person who dismantled the putter only to have the weight fall on the floor and the word Picle come away from the face plate and fall to the floor too. Needless to say I returned it and got a refund. Job done, topic finished. I purchased another putter and had a counter weight put in the end of the shaft and all is now well. Thank you for your interest. I knew the first putter was too heavy because it felt too heavy.Topic now closed.

Cheers,

Ron
