I might seriously consider buying it. It makes me think of how precise I am in teeing up the ball. Maybe I should do some measurements ;)

It's only $24.99 so not as expensive as I expected it to be, but I will always recommend these tees below to everyone.

They have the stripes so you can put it into the ground at the same height each time, which is similar to what that tool does, but the main difference is you cant customize the stripe height with these obviously.

Yes, they're Maxfli brand, but they are great. I typically dont use the short ones, I just shove the tall one all the way into the ground. They sell for $9.99 at my local Golf Galaxy, and they are extremely durable. I've used these for the last year and a half and have yet to have one snap in half, I have a couple that I have used for so long that all 3 black stripes have worn off, and it typically takes between 5-10 rounds with the same tee before the black stripes start to wear off to the point where you couldn't use it for the height. I'd much rather take 2.5 boxes of these tees compared to that tool plus having to buy tees on top of that.

I actually find the times I miss my driver is when I run out of my pre-striped tees and teed the ball too low with a non marked tee. With a non marked tee, I just find my tendency is to tee it too low and I dont notice how low I made it. I know right away from the feel that I smoked the bottom of the face.

I use these from Golftown.
