currently using vlc and kdenlive which is acceptable for video viewing/editing.

i'd like to be able to annotate videos and do side-by-side comparisons of different swings/angles. would prefer simpler workflow than editing frames in gimp and bringing back to kdenlive, etc.

am distro-agnostic. open to wine but not my preference.

please let me know if i can clarify or if you have questions.

thanks! 👍

  • iacas changed the title to GNU/Linux Swing Analysis Software?

You're highly unlikely to find something like that. There's virtually no market for it.

@iacas, thanks for your feedback -- good point. looks like i may need to evaluate some windows/mac software in the future.

in the meantime, does anyone out there have experience doing very basic swing analysis with existing linux software you could share? e.g. drawing lines and measuring angles in videos? side-by-side would be a bonus but not necessary right now.

or are there any linux users out there who don't have an answer but would be interested in this kind of thing?

Not a lot of Linux users here, just looking at the user agents and things.
