Got a golf trip coming up in Ocean City, MD. The courses we're playing are:

Rum Pointe, Man O' War, and The Links at Lighthouse Sound.

Hoping for a nice streatch of dry weather. I've never played any of these courses but it looks like theres plenty of water around so i'll be sure to bring extra balls.

Have been there often. Lighthouse Sound is really nice. You will love it. Rum Pointe is maybe may fave in the area though. It is kinda two different courses. One nine linksy and other through the woods somewhat. But I love it. Can't comment on Man O War. Never been. Over all there are about 12 good courses in that area. Had a group  that went there for quite some time. Played Rum Pointe year it opened...Ha I travel up the 1/13 roads thru DE and MD and every once in while pull over and play Rum Pointe again. Enjoy.

I’m glad this thread exists. We’ll be in Chincoteague in June and I’m planning to make the drive up to River Run. Has anyone ever been?

River Run is ok. Nothing to write home about. If you’re in the area check out Rum Pointe, Man O War, or Lighthouse Sound. All better than River Run but also a little pricier.

Ok, that’s GREAT to know. I’m the only one on the trip playing golf (here’s the roster: Wife and I plus our two kids, her brother and his wife and their two kids, her other brother and his wife and daughter, plus my in laws; 13 total) so price isn’t a huge issue since I won’t be playing much (probably one round at a top level course and another at some muni near the rental house).

Links at Lighthouse sound is the best of the ones I mentioned. Not an easy course but the views are incredible and it’s in immaculate shape. The price tag reflects that though. Man O war and Rum pointe are really nice too and more affordable.
