  1. A logman will have a head made of wood.
  2. I'll go along with this. Keep playing in them and soon you won't think about it being a "tournament". It will just be a round of golf.
  3. Amazingly, since I have moved on from Key 1 to Keys 2 and 3, my head looks more steady than ever in the FO view: I have been working mostly on getting my weight more forward and that looks a little better too. What I am most encouraged about though in the DTL is how my right knee is not kicking out as badly as before and I am hitting very tight shots that have very little movement in them. Just a little leakage either left or right. Mostly, the ball is "trying" to turn over a little left to right so I know that I am catching it from the inside:
  4. That frog is saying "WTF dude? I was sleeping on that lily pad."
  5. Pm me your address and I'll send you the rotella book as a loaner.
  6. Working on Key # 2 trying to get my weight/pressure more forward on the downswing. Been making lots of slow practice swings while maintaining flex in my left knee to get used to how it's supposed to feel. Trying to feel like my swing is more "linear" than "rotary".
  7. How far off the fairway? Just barely, or were all of them like the two "15 feet from OB"? How well do you hit your 3W? In prepping for a match one summer, I played three holes one day with my driver and made 3 double bogies by taking too aggressive of lines off the tee. The next day I played the same 3 holes but teed off with my 3W instead and played them at - 1. From following your thread for a bit, you look like you are getting more to the "management" stage and just need to play to your strengths while you continue to iron out the last few things.
  8. Nope, Had a hysterectomy the day before my teeth were pulled.
  9. I had all four wisdom teeth cut out in one sitting and hit balls that afternoon. Went to work the next day. Maybe I just have a high tolerance for pain.
  10. The only thing that is missing from my lessons is my consistency in being able to practice like I'd like to. I know what the guys want me to do but, I am having trouble getting the time to practice outside. If I were super hardcore, I'd be doing little "hips forward", half swings inside instead of posting in a thread about not having time to practice.
  11. mvmac, I blow my nose in your general direction. Your mother smelled of elderberries and your father was a hamster. Now go away or I will have to taunt you yet a second time!!!
  12. I know for a fact she can win any debate on any subject too.
  13. I decided that I wanted to only carry three wedges instead of four. The pitching wedge in my set was 46*. I wanted to space the other two out evenly and decided that 6* differences would work for me better than four.
  14. This what I use as well.
  15. She also appears on Justified as Winona Hawkins.
  16. As one of my friends from college used to say, "She's got some BMFTs" Big Mother ****ing Titties
  17. I guess DJ missed the cut to avoid one more day of pretending he was only holding hands with her.
  18. A special shout out to all of the no golfing ***kers I picked this week. 4 of the 8 missed the cut. Way to go guys!!
  19. Funny you say that. After I shot this video and packed everything up, there were a few balls that were left up the range by someone else. I hit a couple of them with only thinking about stopping swinging back when my shoulder "touched" my chin. I crushed them with a really good ball flight.
  20. Here's what happens when life gets in the way and you don't get to play or practice like you'd hoped for several months. Nothing like feeling that you are right back to square one: Anyway, things are getting to where I should be able to get back to work.
  21. Maybe try something like a sturdy piece of cardboard from a box that you could poke the alignment stick through?
  22. I have some vintage "wheat" ones that I can let go for $100 each. They come with a certificate of authenticity and I know for a fact that one of them was in Trevino's pocket when he threw the snake on Nicklaus.
  23. Will not watch any of this until Sunday.
  24. When you learn to chip and putt like some of those 70 year old vultures you'll be on to shooting some really low scores.
