  1. WOW!! Rickie drains a long one. Very cool
  2. That may be the Chianti talking
  3. Phil's putting on a charge. Great to see. Rory's going to have to work hard for this one.
  4. Jim Nantz gem - "the hills are alive"
  5. You can disagree with others without being so petty and insulting in your response. It's actually OK for people to have different points of view and opinions on things. Adults are typically very comfortable with this concept. It's more troubling when some people feel compelled to respond to those that don't hold their point of view in a way that basically attempts to characterize those positions as ignorant or infantile. Of course, I'm presuming that is what you meant with your "reasoning capacity of a child" comment.
  6. Just picked up 2 new wedges - Vokey 56 at 14 degrees of bounce and 60 degree at 11 degrees of bounce.
  7. I play this club. I've had mixed results, because of me, not the club. But with the low profile, if you hit down on it from the fairway taking a small divot, the balls just takes off of the club face. It's a great club - you just need to swing it the right way. Bottom line for me though is that a 3 hybrid will always be a better option off the deck than any 3 wood.
  8. Theoretically. But he hobbled off, looking like he was in pretty bad shape. Let's at least agree on that. Today, not so much when he teed off in his practice round. I like Tiger, but I don't like what I'm seeing when he does this nonsense. Let's agree to disagree on this one Jamo.
  9. I bet he couldn't pull that one off again, matter how many shots you gave him
  10. What I'm saying is - he wasn't hurt at all. He was faking an "injury" because he was playing like crap, pure and simple. Of course he would have finished if he was playing well. Why couldn't he simply be upfront and tell people why he really pulled out of the tournament?
  11. I'm in total agreement. If he was playing well he would have finished his round. We're talking about a guy that won the US Open on a broken leg. If he was really hurt he wouldn't be playing in the PGA. If he wanted to pull out at the WGC, to be cautious, then why didn't he just say so. I was a fan, but this Tiger soap opera has gotten pretty old.
  12. Unfortunately for Bubba, JC wanted him to hit a driver on that long drive hole. Oooops!!!!
  13. That was a great clip - Harrington seems to get that part of what they need to do is entertain the fans.
  14. Not backing Bubba on this one. He should have just gone with the flow and had some fun with it rather than be such a whiny little............
  15. Dear Penthouse........................
  16. I got around in 3 hours and 10 minutes today. It was awesome
  17. Short par 3 hole, flag was about 105 yards out and at the base of a large hump in the green. My tee shot went right at the flag and hit about half way up the hump in the green and then rolled back towards the hole. Ended up about a foot from the hole for a tap in birdie
  18. Watching Sergio Garcia shoot 27 on the back 9 today at the WGC Bridgestone with 7 birdies and 11 one putt greens in a row - what an incredible hot streak. What's your personal best, either consecutive birdies, pars, one putts, GIR's or whatever stat floats your boat?
  19. I don't think that Hammer4's point is weak- just the opposite in fact. Maybe the end recreational user believes they aren't hurting anyone, except themselves, but there is a lot of bad stuff happening when the bad guys battle over territory so that they can control the distribution and sale of illegal drugs. I think it's pretty naive to think drug use is a victimless crime.
  20. Absolutely. I was a fan of his game, but man this is just bad behaviour on so many levels. I hope he gets help with his problem(s) and turns it around but sad to see this type of shit happen.
  21. I voted no. He's having a great season on senior tour, but the Europeans have so many strong players and options that I just don't think it'd make sense to do that.
  22. Yesterday, shot a 90. 1 blow up hole of 9 on a par 5 and 5 three putts . White tees with a course rating of 65.8 and 123 slope and 5,983 yards. At this course I normally play the blue tees at 6,513 yards at 71.3 and a slope of 129 and usually score pretty much the same. Weird.
  23. I'll say 5 iron. I hit that pretty consistently. My last set had a 4 iron, which I hit ok but frankly it didn't go much further than my 5 iron, so it didn't make much sense for me. When I got my current set, I went with a 4 hybrid. Easier to launch in the air and definitely goes further than my old 4 iron.
  24. If you aced a par 4, that's a double eagle or albatross.
  25. OK, I surrender Looks like this works for you, congrats and keep on swingin'
