    Golfsmith

speaking of golfsmith, I went by today just to try a couple of drivers out, and so I got the guy to set me up on the club fitting screen, and I was just hitting with different drivers. Usually when I go to the range I hit about 220-245 yds average with my driver, and that was what I was hitting around today with a couple of drivers (cobra, taylormade, callaway, etc) so then I just wanted to try a different one and I picked up a Nike Sasquatch Sumo Squared Driver, and this thing was awesome!! The first one I hit was 306 yards, and I constantly got it over 300. I had never hit it that far, the thing has an awesome sound when you hit it on the right spot. It is a good driver what do you all think?

    My Clubs

I always wash my clubs, arrange them in order, wash my towels, and wash my game balls. I don't know if I'm the only one that does that, but I really love having my bag "ready" to play a round.

But you said the PGA tour store was always full? It doesn't seem like it from the highway, but I guess it could be

    Golfsmith

Do any of you go to Golfsmith stores? I'm not talking about the online store but like in person. That store is so good, at least the one in Atlanta is. I got to try every driver, iron, putter, hybrid and everything I wanted for free, and for as long as I wanted. The best thing was that the part of the store where they have the net is really far back into the store so none was watching or annoying me so I was there for a while just testing everything out.
  6. I went to TJ Maxx today and it was pretty cool, I had been there before though. But they do have some cheap prices...
  7. happiness for me is just getting to the course really early in the morning and enjoying my time there, just me and the golf course. It doesn't matter how bad I do then, I just enjoy my time...
  8. I play good when I'm dressed my best, I guess it's just I feel more relaxed or something, but it's worked.
  9. I guess that'd be a cool thing when you're playing on a real tournament, but the balls really arent different right?
  10. I use Wilson Staff True Elite what do the numbers on the balls mean?
  11. what was par?
  12. "hit the ball as hard I can without over swinging."
  13. what's the best club to put a spin on the ball with and how do you usually do it?
  14. It feels good to me to have well known brands in my bag
  15. keep playing constantly - it's summer now so I'm playing quite often, but I want it to continue putting! gosh.. - obviously improve my putting learn how to drive the ball ... - .. and not use irons 100% of the time
  16. ahh ok, thanks for clearing that up. I just thought it was easier if you just let the group behind you hit without you hitting first, but I guess it's not a bad idea.
  17. this might seem a bit off topic but it's also happened to me when I've played. Why did you hit your tee shots and then let them hit? wouldn't you get your balls confused?
  18. well I'm pretty sure the membership is almost exclusively available to mostly peopel that live there, but yeah you can get in for $140. I'm guessing it's normally harder to get into courses like this, but this one doesn't seem to be that hard to get into.
  19. here you can pay $140 to pay on a PGA tour course. TPC at sugarloaf, where there's a PGA tournament every year.
  20. This didn't happen to me but I'm gonna post it anyways It was me, my dad, and his friend playing about 2 weeks ago. My dad's friend had never played before, and me and my dad were pretty new to golf also. This happened on a friday afternoon after twilight, so obviously the place was packed and there were a bunch of carts waiting for us. On the first hole I led off and hit, and then did my dad, we both hit pretty good shots. Then it was my dad's friend's turn to go, so he gets set and he swings as hard as he could, he hit the ball on the ground, but the most embarrasing thing was that he let go of the club and it went flying about 40-50 yards, it was so bad that everyone was laughing and stuff.
  21. I'm 16, but I earn just as much as a normal adult by creating and selling websites online, better thing is that I don't pay any bills. : )
