Being born a lefty and doing everything under the sun except using scissors I couldn't image even attempting to swing a club from the wrong side (righty). I'm not good enough naturally

Yesterday played a really nice course down in Md for the 1st time w/a good friend. "The Woodlands" Par 4 #18..... Very short hole only played 317yds yesterday from the whites....Tee shot is up hill slightly then back down and funnels into the green..... Use a 3W off the tee and leaves me a 2nd shot of 118yds left center of fairway (sitting beautiful) use my PW looking to place it center of green with the flag dead middle, and what do I do? Freakin chunk it and the ball goes maybe 20yds lol

I totally agree, but in todays world and the way people (friends, unknown sources etc) can't keep their mouths closed about things, it seems as if stories (Rumors) are becoming ever more true.....to be honest, always thought Tiger was a great Golfer and his energy brought something to the game, but I've never been a fan or follower of his, and this story along with previous encounters of his hasn't mattered to me 1 bit....and if it comes out that this story/rumor is true, it doesn't concern me 1 bit either.....
-
yeah The Bridges is nice too.....the few times I've played there the course was in excellent shape....Briarwood though for the quality and upkeep of the course and price are A1 in my book.....I live in Hanover and love making the 20-25min track over there...
-
Wie is nice but I kinda fancy Sandra Gal and Jessica Korda though lol...and the course (at least from the TV point of view) is awesome....J Cream you play Briarwood, Honey Run much?

in unrelated stories that first broke with the tag rumor, and actually came out to be true..were as follows: 1) several yrs ago there was rumors Bruce Jenner was attempting to become a women...people laughed and thought yeah right.....hmm we know how that turned out...(true) 2) Tom Brady and the entire deflating of the footballs in the AFC Championship game....hmm we know how that turned out...(True) 3) Ben Afflec and Jennifer Gardner weeks before they split it was rumored they were on the outs, they come out and deny those rumors...hmm we know how that turned out.....(true) And know this...normally were there is smoke, there is a fire...in the case of Tiger Woods these last sevral years his fires have been blazes...so imho there is some truth behind this rumor, and wouldn't surprise me 1 bit if it doesn't come down the pipe to be true....

I've watched every show and honestly can't remember Richy choking any other time then last weeks show missing the short putt twice...I could be wrong though These 3 remaining are def the more polished of all the guys this season imho and will be a great fight among them to get to crown the winner..looking forward to it.
-
I'm going with Richy to win it all, and honestly think it comes down to him and Kyle the 2 Yellow Jackets.....Kyle has the skill and game imho, but I think it's between his ears that gets in his way and I think everyone views him as the weakest left....

I can't agree or disagree with what Norman said here. The way points are given (FedEx, Ryder Cup etc..) you can have a successful/great season making a living with top 20 finishes in tourneys entered. But, I can't see where a player would invest so much time and energy into practicing, having swing coaches, putting coaches etc only to have the mentality that "heck I just want to finish in the top 20 and all is well" I don't see that honestly, specially among the top tier players in the World. If that were the case why not just quit the Tour and become a teacher at a course somewhere.

Mine are pretty simple going into this season. Finished the yr with my Cap higher then normal, it's sitting at 15.2 (I actually need to change that now on my profile that I'm mentioning it) 1.) bring that cap down to the 12's and stay there. 2) putt better, I can be a horrible putter at times, even more so on Par3's, and have less 3 putt's in my round...they will kill you 3.) practice more, even if it's just a small bucket of balls 1-2 times a week in between a round 4.) play more 5.) walk more / ride less

this story can't seem to escape Reed huh? wow seems almost as if someone is paying to put this info out there for us all to see to place a dark cloud over him..hmm wonder if Harris English is behind this? lol just kidding, honestly I don't know Patrick Reed, never will meet him and can only say what I do know about him, he's a fine golfer and a player who seems (game wise) to be heading in the right direction, sure wish people (myself included) weren't always so condemning of others and held onto those feeling their entire life's, after all people can and do change...hope this doesn't affect him golf wise.

I normally carry 5-7 quality balls which I'm commited to using that round if needed and I have roughly 10 off the wall, not in great shape balls in another pocket, and I'll break 1 of those out occasionally if I'm not striking the ball well that day on a Par3 over water, 1 course Quail Valley #13 I play is a 134-140yd from the Whites and 155-160 from the Blacks island green surrounded by water, it can be a bit tricky lol. but as far as how many a round, my plan and hope everytime playing is to only use 1 ball, I think the most I've used in my past 2 golf seasons as been 3 and that was from poorly made shots on my part.
-
For years if you saw a yellow ball while playing automatically you knew I was range ball, but now these manufactures have the same ball quality in yellow without skipping a beat, honestly couldn't care less what color, type etc ball someone plays, it neither concerns me or bothers me at all.
-
Clay was very talkative this week huh? I didn't like his woe is me attitude after winning the challenge saying "I think the guys are more up set I knocked Tommy out, then me winning"....his opinion, but I didn't see that and I guess now that will be his chip on his shoulder to carry him through. I still think Richey is the best over all player and dark horse under the radar guy left, wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't win, he's so darn quiet that until he plays you forget he's even there.

Marylander Returning After Long Absence

Timbers at Troy from what I can remember is a beauty of a course, it's right of 95 and 100 correct? played there about 10yrs ago when I really wasn't serious about playing Golf...and also a friend of mine plays The Woodlands every week (he plays that Early Bird special) I honestly think I'll join him this season, I'm in Hanover so it's only about 45-50 mins for me...also don't know if you have played it or not but I play Oakmont Green every week, by far my favorite course in Hampstead....maybe when weather breaks I'll have to take you up on that offer and join you at 1 of those courses this year, Compass Pointe or Timbers...talk to you soon Steve -

Hey Steve- welcome back...I see your from Anne Arundel County, I grew up in Pasadena right off Duvall Hwy, and left the area a few yrs before they finally built Compass Pointe. So I'm guessing your familiar with Diamond Ridge, Bay Hills in Arnold and all those courses down that way. Good having you, enjoy and jump right in -

I personally see a valid complaint, but as the video states players do have the right not to play should they not what

a few things that stand out to me after todays round...it took JB Holmes 5 hrs to complete his round today, wonder if he was placed on the clock any? he really seemed to be slower today then I recall him being in the past... Rory is down is Fla and I'm sure there are several teams down there for Spring Training that could use his services in the bullpen..man he threw that 3i a good ways in the H2O...and the 3some of the top 3 in the world were driving distances lights out today...very impressive

I actually just saw his Putting commercial today for the 1st time, loved it..."you can walk off before hearing the bottom of the cup"

Ferguson- Your entitled to your opinion, I won't fault you for that, but To be honest how can anyone fault another for advertising a brand that pays them, or is a sponsor of them and gives them free items to wear, use etc...? I personally know if I was blessed enough to be a pro golfer, athlete etc.. I would wear or use any brands product, do commercials for them, only way I wouldn't is unless it was something that I don't agree with or something like that...I wouldn't wear skulls and bones lol..honestly I can't see why your hate for Matt's Dad causes you to hate Sketchers as well, they didn't do anything for your hatred imho
