  1. I thought the same thing. I was disappointed after a google search.
  2. "former President...." Both these dudes are weird! I had a hard time watching!
  3. Played yesterday. First 4 holes were a combo of steady rain, sprinkle and a downpour. Obviously we waited in the cart during the down pour. We had thunder past us and heading toward us. We had lighting to the east and west of us. By the 5th hole the sun came out and temp rose to a humid 85. So I was soaked from the rain and swampy from the humidity. This lasted for hole 5-6-7. By hole 8 & 9, the dark clouds started to move in again as did the thunder. But we finished before the heavy stuff came down again. Not ideal, but we are running out of weeks for league play.
  4. well the universe corrected itself. Sat I shot the round of my life. Today I played 9 and for the first 5 holes you would have thought it was my first time playing the game. SHANK CITY!!!!! 100 yards down into the green (2nd shot), SHANK right into the trees. 130 into a green (2nd shot), SHANK into a bunker 120 into a green (3rd shot on a par 5) Shank right into a pond! By the 6th hole I figured it out and went Par, Par, Par & Par to end up with a 47. I could have also been due to the thunder, lighting and rain.
  5. Not proud of it, but I had crack a goose upside its head with my club. I was on the green just trying to finish my 3 putt for triple bogie and that goose came right at me no good in its eyes!
  6. 82, 10 over. My best round probably ever! Not having played or picked up my clubs in 3 weeks, I was hoping to shoot in the low 90s. Nope, played alot of Par golf, 2 doubles, 1 Birdie and a few bogies!
  7. Neither,
  8. I can usually snag a Golf Pride Multi-Compound for $12 or $13 and install myself. I think you talked me into it!
  9. The shaft of my Titleist driver was cracked and in need of replacement. Walked into my local golf shop to see what they could do. I was surprised to find a Ventus Fujikura already set up for a Titleist and with the grips I use. I used to have a Ventus Fujikura on my Burner, so no need to get fitted. $99 and out the door I went. Maybe it was the heat or I was rushing but I did not notice the grip was on awkwardly and to the side. Anytime I have griped, or had clubs griped the "Golf Pride" is straight down the middle and I use it as a grip alignment. When I was out in the back yard hitting into my net, my kid was telling me to not "over think it" and not let it get into my head. However, this grip and club are totally different than all my other clubs. I think subconsciously this may bother me. Heck as soon as I hit a bad drive you know I will blame the grip! Do I have an honest complaint? Should I just go with it (after all it is a brand new grip) Would you regrip?
  10. I prefer playing in dry 60f weather, moderate cloud cover, with a little breeze. However, if the course is open my league plays. Therefore I have played in everything from snow to ridiculous heat, from Irish Sunshine to 20 mph wind! Not ideal, but it is what it is!
  11. How do you get DQ from LIV? Was his shorts not loud enough?
  12. His greatest roles will always be Animal House Ordinary People The Simpsons
  13. U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau is a world-class phony - The Washington Post Bryson DeChambeau is a sellout, which makes his latest PR push awfully rich.
  14. 46 (+10) Had a 9 on the first par 4 (3 tries out of the bunker and a 3 put) Had a triple bogey on the last par 3 (once again bunkers are not my friend) Had 2 birdies!
  15. Yesterday I went to Dicks Sporting Good Warehouse and picked up 4 loud golf shirts for a total of $65. This was 2 Bad Bird shirts and 2 Walter Hagens. Today i just bought a used Bagboy Nitron. Had a $25 amazon gift card and with the cart being used I I only paid $240, which is good considering it retails for $279-$299
  16. loud golf (some say ugly) shirt at DSG warehouse. $75 shirt for $20. And really you can never have to many loud golf shirts. if I could only find a good online company, I would buy sooo many more!
  17. The fact that I live in a world where there is a such a thing as "golf influencer" bugs me!
  18. totally forgot about it, until i saw it this weekend for the umpteenth time! 1917 - absolutely epic movie. And on of the best tracing shots in film!
  19. A list with both Airborne and Goonies....... I think a list of 5 is very difficult Shawshank is definitely on the list Boogie Nights (This is a great film, but Really tough to omit PT Andersons other work . so I would need to include Magnolia and There Will Be Blood. And if we are being honest Daniel Day Lewis had a hell of a performance in There Will Be Blood. Actually if you watch There Will Be Blood and then Phantom Thread, you get to see DDL perform at 2 very different characters at opposite ends of the spectrum) No Country for Old Men Godfather (GodFather 2 may be the better film) Good Fellas (I might argue that Casino deserves as much love as Good Fellas, it is simply a great gangster film) Usual Suspects Saving Private Ryan (but Spielberg has made so many great movies) L.A. Confidential Almost Famous (This is one of my personal Favorite films, ever!) Modern Times (an almost perfect silent film made as the talkies were taking over)
  20. Officer's Pants Tragically Struck Down In Confrontation With Scottie Scheffler | Defector More details have emerged about Scottie Scheffler’s arrest outside the PGA Championship this morning. According to a Louisville Metropolitan Police...
  21. 7 iron 7 iron Chip 2 putt move on to #15
  22. You advertise LIV as "golf but louder" You had DJ's pumping Jock Jams all over the place. You have Bros who are really into golf and TFG shot gunning 26 oz bud lights, while double fisting a 19 oz coors. What type of behavior do you expect?
  23. 47 (10 over) All my irons were pulling left, which added a nearly a stroke a hole.
  24. I never miss an opportunity to pull it out!!!!! I dont have a range finder, but a GPS watch. I have made it part of my preshot routine to look at yardage at club selection. Then practice swing, then look again to adjust my shot.
