  1. Lol, best start to a post ever. As for the bag, I've seen nicer bags on clearance at golf shops for that price...
  2. Love the feel of my irons, cant stand hybrids... to each his own though...
  3. Love the AP1's... As the previous poster says, try out the AP2's as well...
  4. No sorry, half the fun is picking out a new pair each year...
  5. From Daly's twitter after the round: "I am exhausted --it's been very hard to play both tours & have deicded I'm going to work for Kid Rock--It's good to have options haha I'm sure Kid Rock needs a bus driver and I promised him I wouldn't go in tunnels less than 10 feet all is good -- regrouping & recharging myself I'm really good--just realaxing with Anna & my coach Rick Smith--goin to take it easy--haven't done that in a while and need it havin my eyes looked at next week hopin Lasix will correct my stignatism"
  6. you probably hit 5 wood, your hybrid and 3 iron similar distance... Any of those three are logical.
  7. Just curious if you have the same grips for all clubs, i.e. Irons, Driver, Fairway Woods, Wedges? Would it be better since it would be consistent through all clubs or do drivers and woods have different grip demands and should require different grips?
  8. Definitely Vokeys, great wedges, come in varieties of loft/bounce combos...
  9. My instructor fit me at my local course. Even with the slight differences I got, way more consistant ball flight and straightness
  10. Thanks for all the feedback. So I hit the range prior and found everything to be pretty consistent. Took them with me this weekend and kept the old clubs at home, glad I did. Only issue I had was club selection yardages as the new clubs were hitting longer than old ones... Turned out to be a great weekend and I love the clubs
  11. I just got my AP1s fitted from titleist. My previous set were just off the shelf. The only difference I got in my new clubs were 1° upright, a couple more wraps on the grips and stiffer shafts. I am heading to Whistler for 3 rounds of golf on Saturday. How much difference am I going to see in my new clubs and should I use them or just use the old ones until I can practice with the new ones??
  12. GP Tour Velvets here
  13. I got fitted on Friday and after much research and demoing, ordered a set of AP1s. Does anyone have any idea of what the average turn around time will be on the set? Shop said they could not guarantee a time and therefore didn't want to state a date... Am I looking at days, weeks, months? Thanks
  14. Im a huge fan of my 909f3 with the Voodoo shaft
  15. 2009 Ford Escape AWD, Lots of room, very comfortable and Fords Rule!!!
  16. X2. I was amazed at what you get for $20/doz, highly underrated ball...
  17. Heard the Top Flite Gamers are the best ball for the buck out there... Also heard that Titleist NXT Tour are the "Poor man's ProV"
  18. I normally walk but I noticed my last few holes of the round I start to hit the ball less consistent, possibly fatigue. Definitely more relaxing walking. When in a cart feels like I'm rushing through the round...
  19. On the Scotty Website there's a registry authentication... does that not work?
  20. Just a simple blue dot over the Titleist but thought of a good one: ( . Y . )
  21. Best advice I can give would be to go to your nearest pro shop and hit as many drivers as you can, see which one you like and hits the farthest... Anything else would just be our opinion and what we like...
  22. After Spending 2 hours at the local golf shop and hitting every 3 wood in stock, decided on a Titleist 909F3 with a Voodoo Shaft. was a tossup between it, the Taylormade R9 or the Ping G2. Thanks everyone for the help, this forum is truly awesome.
  23. Just be careful of the too good to be true knockoff deals.
  24. Was out of town golfing about 5 months ago and left my 60° greenside, left my number and it never got returned as well. Best part is buying a new one though
  25. When I bought my driver I tested 3 Cleveland Launcher 460, R7 460 and the Nike Sumo (not square one) Hit about 20 balls with each and the Nike was farther and straighter than both 18 out of 20 balls. Not sure if your interested in the nike but the taylor made would have been my second choice.
