Right now I'm playing Hogan Apex Edge Pro forged with a slight cavity back design. These clubs feel like butter thru the ball , but I am still considering some muscle back blades. My Hogans have a small brown spot the size of a dime where I strike the ball, and I wore out a set of Titleist Tour Model blades about 12 years ago. My question is this. Titleist MB710 or Nike VR ? Both look good. I am going to Edwin Watts tomorrow to have my Hogans checked for loft and lie.

I spent 4 days in orlando and played every day. Definitely a good golf location. But i will also say that i live around some of the finest courses in this region. I would travel 4 hours to play though.

I'm in savannah GA and would defintely drive to orlando to play. Regional would be the best plan. Would be nice to have regional specific forum areas so folks in a certain area could try to get together

I think 10-15 seconds would be normal for me. I do get behind the ball and pick a small spot on the ground for alignment then i pull the trigger . No waggling

This is exactly right. It could be a slight over the top move all the to a change in ball position in your stance. Several could be's and an equal amount of cures

I dont really care for bets that involve using the flagstick for a measuring device. It just seems to slow up play too much. Anyrhing that can be carded wirhout having to step off or measure something is just good fun.

KZG is a fine blade . Or that is the only club i have hit. They make an outstanding muscle back iron.

To answer the op question. Once you have a consistant swing and distance with your clubs then a lazer becomes very useful. I bought a cheapo at wal mart for $100 . It is made for hunting but a lazer is a lazer and it gives me the info i need .

I believe the least a golfer should do is wear a nice shirt and golf shorts. Its just not that hard to do.

I have used the NXT Tour Titleist ball several times and have it pretty easy to stop on the greens i play here.

I think maybe WUTiger nailed it. A weak shot tends to be a timing issue. Maybe over swing and using upper body to pull the club square because of a longer back swing. Just try taking half swings at the range and i think you will find everything coming thru the ball instead of just upper body. Hope that makes sense to you.

We tee off around 7:30 here in savannah. On our second round it starts getting very hot. Lots of water and a damp towel

I was given some really good basics by a guy named byron drydon (God rest his soul) back when i was 25 . I laid off for seven years and just started back about 8 months ago. I met an older guy at the club i joined 4 months ago. He got me into a 3/4 swing with good shoulder turn. I have gone from a 6 to almost scratch in a few short months. The guy who gave me the new swing hits the ball solid every time. He' s 64 years old. I'm 52 and have never played better.

Ussually when i play ive got a couple of bets. I do play alone but when i do its practice for me. I average about 175 balls a day on the range (range plan at my course). But when my game goes south wirh money on the line it is good for me to just slow everything down and take a few extra seconds to look at my shot.

I think they should be banned from tournament play especially on the pro level. But, hey let the ametures have them . I mean i could care less what someone else is using unless i believe its affecting my paycheck.
