  1. I have nothing bad to say about the MP-32s. Gorgeous irons, great feel/workability, and solid performers.
  2. Looks good! Make sure to post on golfwrx.com too. There were some people discussing your putters there.
  3. I play a 19* to fill that gap. Since Adams doesn't offer 19*, definitely go with the 20* like everyone else says.
  4. You can pick up an r7 Quad for cheap - around 400cc Apparently the new Nike VR Tour drivers are going to be around 400cc as well. The VR Str8-fit will be 460 cc. Here are pics of the VR Tour courtesy of Golfwrx.com:
  5. I carry a 52, 56, 60. If I wanted to, I could go 52, 58, 64. I don't carry a 3 iron, I go driver, 15*, 19*, 24*
  6. Mizuno MP-32s R300 (gamers) Mizuno MP-32s S300 Mizuno MP-32s R300 Mizuno MX-23s Graphite Mizuno MP-100s Mizuno MP-57s And a few crap sets of irons. Most of this is my dad's fault
  7. Thanks for the advice, it really gives me hope. I've been stuck at 10 for about a year probably. I just got driving range membership and my drivers license so I can start practicing more. But, I've also had a busy summer so not enough practice time. Next summer will be great, all practice!
  8. You can probably find a Titleist 907D2 or 905R for under $150
  9. Nice! Holy crap, if I remember correctly, you were around a 10 handicap last year. How did you shave so many strokes off? I need advice.
  10. Great distance and decent feel for cast irons. Very forgiving!
  11. I haven't bought a club at the store in years. eBay!
  12. Combination of durability, club organization, and color.
  13. Enjoy the clubs!
  14. If you just like the style of the headcover and not necessarily care for the "Scotty Cameron" name on it, just search for AM&E; headcovers on eBay. There are a couple of eBay stores selling AM&E; headcovers that can be custom embroidered. *Edit* Check out this seller: http://shop.ebay.com/puttercoversour...1&_from=&_ipg=
  15. I also live about ten minutes away! Blue is definitely harder than green and possibly as hard as red. The first two holes of blue are ridiculously long.
  16. Looks great! I'm going to gun blue a TPM II, I'll put up pics when I'm done.
  17. I looked at the videos... At address none of their arms are in line with the shaft. At impact, their arms are indeed in line with the shaft. I do understand your point though. But, at impact, your arms are swinging at a high speed. Naturally, they're going to be at a different position than what they were at address. *Edit* By the way, do you have the link to Brian Gay's teacher's website. I want to read the article just for the sake of knowledge.
  18. Yep. We're not talking about impact position here, we're talking about address. At impact, your right arm is bent so it's definitely in line with the shaft. At address, if your right arm is fairly straight, it won't be easy to keep it in the same line as the shaft.
  19. Driver 3 wood - 15* Hybrid - 19* 4-PW Gap Wedge - 50-52* Sand Wedge - 54-56* Lob Wedge - 58-60* This setup seems to work best for me.
  20. Did you go down in driver loft? It could very well be the shaft, my slice becomes much more pronounced with stiffer shafts. I have a swing speed around yours and I use regular shafts.
  21. Since I made this thread, I seem to have stopped my club ho'ing. I'm very content with my current setup although I may upgrade to MP-68s after I get custom fitted. Also, a 50*-54*-58* wedge setup would better suit me.
  22. About the address position, in my opinion it's more a function of body type/arm length. Lucas Glover is a great driver of the golf ball and look at his address position:
  23. Can anyone compare the Funk'd Funky grips and the Iomic X-Grip for me? Feedback on either one is also appreciated, thanks!
  24. I recently bought one. The scanning mode is great for me because I can't keep my hands very steady. Check out this website, very good price: http://www.ambientsw.com/gs51772.html
  25. I voted for MP-68 just to even out the polls . Honestly, I'm going to try both of them, it all comes down to personal preference.
