    Iron Covers?

Honestly, if you are really worried about dings, get the covers. I have my forged blades for almost 2 years now and you barely notice the dings after a while. There are some cool looking Mizuno iron covers that I saw on eBay if you change your mind.
  3. Sweet blades! Shiny...
  4. The only difference I really feel is on full shots. The MP-R that I have really feels like the Mizuno irons. Impact seems to last a little longer and the ball "sticks" to the club face and you can feel it compress, just like Mizuno irons. I really like my Vokey wedges though. They feel great on chip shots, nice and solid.
  5. Now I have to watch the prank Amir pulled at the baseball game.
  6. In my case, it got rid of all the rust and no new rust has really come back. You have to make sure you keep it dry though.

    Finally

I live pretty close to Sunken Meadow. Do you play Bethpage too?
  8. I initially removed the finish about a year ago with hopes that it would rust sooner. However, it just doesn't seem to rust and only developed a few rust spots over the year. I don't think the weather here is humid enough.
  9. Sorry, pics aren't great, didn't have my tripod with me. My Vokey 56* SM, Raw
  10. If I did have non-stock wedge shafts, they would be the KBS Black Nickel shafts, they look awesome.
  11. Just a dull, raw finish. If you want, I can put up a picture.
  12. Golfsmith suggests a 100-110 mph swing speed for the stiff Proto. If the ball flight is too low and you aren't carrying the ball as far as you used to, it could definitely be the shaft. Scroll to the bottom of this link, you will see the chart: http://www.golfsmith.com/ps/products...l-_-ps-_-0-_-1
  13. Glad it worked out! Just wondering, how do you measure the swingweight of your driver?
  14. That's a really good deal. Plus, if you keep on improving, these could be your next set of irons.
  15. I got an almost new set of MP-32s on eBay, S300, for a little more than $200.
  16. http://www.royalprecision.com/precis..._projectx.html Your definitely loosing a lot of distance hitting the ball low on the clubface with those MP-32s. If you made solid contact, even a slightly slower swing speed would result in a lot more distance.
  17. I can certainly feel the difference between my Aerolite and other heavier pounds, to me, 2 lbs is a big difference. However, the comfort of the straps also contributes to how heavy the bag feels when walking. If a bag has good straps, and is lightweight, it can't be beaten.
  18. I have a sleeve in my house with the intention of testing them, but my golf season hasn't started yet. I've heard good things about these balls and I would like to see how they compare to the e6+
  19. Adams , Mizuno Tava, Taylormade Miscela, are all sets made by big name companies especially designed for women.
  20. I have a Taylormade R7 Ti 3 wood. It's so big it almost looks like a driver. I don't really use it off the tee much, I prefer my 3 iron or hybrid, but it's a monster distance-wise.
  21. I have two sets of MP-32s, one has S300s and the others have R300s. The stiffs are like new and I think I'll play them when my current set wears out.
  22. My putter is a heel-shafted half-mallet with lots of toe hang. It's designed to better suit those with arced strokes.
  23. I noticed before that you had stiff shafts on your irons and regulars on your woods. This thread explains it. The high ball flight and random dispersion on solid shots is definitely due to the shaft so stiffer shafts will probably help you out. Good luck convincing your dad.
  24. Thanks for all the responses! Yeah, definitely. I have a lot of school spirit too, well golf team spirit, and I think having my name on the bag is very cool. You're right, when I first found out, I committed myself to not buying because of the $180 price tag. Turns out, we get them for $125. Seems like a great deal for a personalized bag. Do you think the reason is that the Voyage is a lighter bag than the Hoofer? That's also a factor. I think I'm about 98% convinced right now. I wouldn't want to feel out of place, it's going to mess with my golf mojo
  25. My school team is getting Ping Voyage bags with school colors, school logo, our names on it, etc. I'm still trying to decide whether or not I want one. Anyone have any feedback on these bags?
