1. Congrats. Now that you have broken through you know you can do it and will surely do it frequently this summer. Hang with it and you will see 80's before you cn imagine.
2. When looking at my swing in slo-mo I was surprised to see how much flex there was in the shaft and more importantly the direction of the flex. I have been told this is normal but I am not sure. Can the pros here tell me what they are seeing.?
3. Ok. Just bought tapatalk for iPad. Will figure it out.
4. How do I insert a photo into my post.? The photo resides on my ipad3 (from where I access the site). I am looking to include a snap from v1 to ask a question about my shaft fled.
5. Luke Donald -4 Rory McIlroy -3 Lee Westwood -3
6. I have used Ebay and PayPal quite a bit and never had a problem. In fact, TaylorMade has a list out there that shows their authorized sellers on Ebay. I have personally used one of them (golfseller) to buy many things, mostly mizuno over the years. http://taylormadegolf.com/customerService-faqs/customerService-faqs,default,pg.html#ebay
7. I agree.. I was just looking for confirmation.. this happened in fourball match this weekend when partner had read line and with flagstick pointed quite a ways away from line of putt and in doing so the stick slipped a bit and touched the green. The opponents said the line had been touched and that as that was the line we intended to putt along (initially) that is was a penalty... We put the hole in abeyance until later and as it turned out it was a non issue at the end of the day.. Head pro had left by the time we left the grill...so I came to the experts. Nice to know I was once again right
8. @ the_sand_trap Rocketballz driver and I are singing the same tune... long and straight.. ‪ # driverlove https://twitter.com/cliffj12/status/209444054709178369
9. I know you can MAY not touch the line of your putt. I also know you probably SHOULD not touch anything close to the line of the putt. but...Is is mentioned anywhere in the rules or decisions about the how stringent this is to be interpreted. To illustrate (using a diagram I stole from something demonstrating an Aimpoint point... If I or my caddy were to touch the line going off to the right once it passed the line of the putt, would that be permissable. Could my caddy touch the green at the spot where the words aimpoint appear? My interpretration of the rule is that we could. Of course we would have to deal with the resultant kerfufle and the subsequent discussion of what really is the line of the putt.. Anyone have any intelligence on this?
10. While reading a thread elsewhere dealing with The Golfing Machine (TGM) it brought to mnd what I consider golfs fundamental conundrum. As golfers, we work quite hard at having a relaxed swing. We try to get the club and body to certain points at certain specified times while doing it in a smooth relaxed manner with an even tempo. This leads to the body mind conflict of swinging the club vs hitting the ball. While all the launch monitors and high speed cameras can pin point the slightest flaw, it can also lead to the proverbial "paralysis by analysis". The question becomes one of whether there is a place for feel anymore in the modern game? I am guilty of trying all the scientific methods to improve my game but like to believe there is a modicum of feel that remains.. Thoughts??
11. Oops... do I need to delete one?
12. I would like an xxl or xxxl please. (will certainly get noticed)
13. One of my most indelible memories from days of yore (does anyone really say that?) was coming into pro shop and seeing the pro who hailed from Liverpool (this is in Virginia, mind you). I commented.. "I just shot the worst round of my life...".. He deadpanned... "No you haven't..." and calmly went on with his business. He, of course, was right. May you rest in peace, you old curmudgeon...

16. I always shake hands with everyone with hat removed. In clubhouse I follow the rule that "gentlemen do not wear hats indoors". I have been in some clubs where anyone who wears their cap into the grill room must buy a round of drinks....
17. I would prefer the one with better balls. Bad turf actually teaches you to hit the ball first (in my experience)
18. What I need is a way to video myself using my iPad and v1 software.
19. 85 yard wedge shot that takes a small bounce and then stops dead.
20. Just finished a member/invitational at a course where the greens were stimping at 14 feet 10 inches. My wedges were a life saver in getting the ball to hold the greens. I hit some shots I never hit before. (of course, once on the greens, putting was a nightmare. I have never been so mentally fatigued as I was after 3 days of greens that speed)
21. I remember when I used to run for fun...
22. I hope I will have a package awaiting when I return from golf tournament Saturday night...
23. So far I am enthalled with V1. Granted, I paid $5 for it but coupled with the photo quality of the iPad 3...I may never leave the range. I keep seeing things to work on. The only thing you need to find is someone to film you...
24. Thanks... I will be interested to see reaction to the stamping when folks pick it up on the green for me while I am putting out.. (Hopefully after saying ...what a great wedge shot!!!!)
