Well thats a pretty subjective question. Its like asking what brand car is the best in the industry. Everyone will argue for the favorite. For me its all about what works. What may be the best for you may not be the best for me. Play what gives you the confidence to hit it well and don't worry about who says they have the best equipment.

Well I noticed that as well. There were also probably about 5 others I wanted to pick that are in the field but not on the roster to pick. Plus there are alot of golfers on the roster that are not in the field. Not sure about that.

Now this would be a real thrill right here. How about a wireless motion activated alarm with wireless remote control. Just imagine the look on your buddies face when you set your bag down and hit your remote and your bag starts beeping. Now that would be fun. Just imagine if someone picked it up and the alarm started going off. Tell me that wouldn't get some attention around the club house. You know that could be a hell of gag gift too. Sneak that in your buddies bag sometime during the round and then set it off when he would least expect it. I'd love to see the look on their face when that happened.

Would have been great if they had a chance to play each other this week. Looks like the only chance is if they both win all the way to the finals. I don't know if I see that from either one at this point though.

Man this week is tough to pick. I had to change my entire roster as I'm sure some others may have to as well. Should be an interesitng week for the picks.

I like the match play as well. Should be an exciting tournament. The was the season has started I don't know who to pick to win it. Alot of new guys are playing some good golf right now but I'd bank on one of the veteran players to come out on top. I think you have to look at Rory. He is playing some of his best golf right now and coming off that win he should have some momentum. I can't see Couples finishing too strong. After yesterday his spirits are probably not too great. Getting in those final holes in a close match I think the demons could come back. If Tiger is in the field I don't think you can count him out. If he is feeling better this week he could definitely contend. I'm thinking Vijay has to start getting something rolling sometime though. Els and Goosen are both in the field so you can't count them out either. I'd love to see Erine get another shot a tiger in a 1 on 1 match. That would be pretty fun. Should be an exciting weekend.

Guess I never really thought about getting ripped off at the course. Guess it could happen pretty easy though. I usually never use the raincover for my bag. I just don't like to mess with it. Might offer a slight bit of deterent I guess. Boy I'd sure love to catch someone trying to walk off with my bag. I think I'd have to have some bent shafts replaced after I was done.

I'm sure finishing in that rain and cold yesterday didn't help much. He didn't look too great during the interview.

Well I can't say the I care to see the movie at all. When I was a kid my dad and I used to watch all of the old cowboy movies. Now I just can not imagine seeing john wayne and clint eastwood walking around holding hands and being lovers. If I watched Brokeback mountain I'd probably never want to watch another cowboy movie.

I'm sure you've all heard of the movie and the fact the willie nelson is singing a gay cowboy song for it. Amazes me really that he would sing it at all let alone put it on a movie soundtrack. Well I can't say I would blame vijay for what he did or din't do. I don't know if its solid fact that vijay was the one to ask for it or not but the media sure hopes so. If someone I consistently beat last year all of sudden started popping it by my 20 yards I'd have questions. So what the hell happened to anonymity?? phil is also averaging better yardage this year than vijay. Phil is at 298 and vijay is at 291 with close to the same amount of rounds. Nothing like creating a little drama though.

Tonights show was not too bad. Two people chipped in for birdie and one made a nice long birdie putt. All I can say is that I hope Nikki goes home soon. I'm not of fan of talking crap when your game doesn't match your mouth. I love it when she hit her first drive wide right into the woods. She gets her ball then comes out and says that she just isn't getting any breaks at all. Well if she didn't hit such poor shots she may catch a bit of a break now and then.

Won the us open. Didn't hear him complaing about not playing enough events that year. Why didn't he play his 10 events? In 2004 he only played 6 events. Why not all 10? Did we hear him complain then? NO. Now all of sudden he has found enough game to compete on the pga tour. Look at the 2004 stats and its no wonder he didn't play his 10 events. He was not good enough to compete. Now that he has found his game he wants to come to the pga tour where the big money can be found. I say tough shit. Cry me a river mr us open champ. He didn't do what he had to do in 2003 period. He played 14 events and only made the cut in 5 of those. Best finish was a tie for 33rd. He obviously felt he couldn't compete and didn't care enough to play his 15th event. Tell him you were a jackass and couldn't do what you were supposed to do. Say sorry I screwed up in 03. Look me up next year. Rules are rules plain and simple. Follow them or face the consequences. Time for him to pick his 10 events and shut up.

Well you've got us there for sure. Can't argue that point. Sure will be fun beating the super bowl champs next year though. Ha ha we can all dream can't we. Should be some great divison play next year with the steelers. The target is hung and now the contenders want a shot at it. I think the steelers will have to watch out for the bungles next year. They will surely be looking for some revenge.

Personally I don't usually use them. Been playing the 983k and lost the cover so I never replaced. Also took off the 3 wood and hybrid cover as well. Didn't have to worry about the driver getting scratched or dinged because I stripped all the paint off and polised it.

This year could be a bank breaker for me. First kid is due in april. Got my eye on some new titleist 735 irons and probably a couple of oil can spin milled wedges. Will probably buy some type of new putter. I can't wait to try out the 905r either. Now if I can budget all that I'll be a happy man. Maybe divorced but happy.

Someone sounds a bit bitter here. There may have been a few questionable calls but come on lets not get that carried away. The touchdown that was brought back was a bit of a touchy call but hey he did push off thats pass interference even though it was very little. Now on the real atrosity here. What was that pregame show? Sure Stevie was great in his day but come on that was bad. The star spangled banner? Aretha and aaron nevil. Are you kidding me. That was worse than the pregame show. Half time show now there was a real winner. NOT!!! The stones are just that. As old as dirt and not so good any more. Time to give it up.

Well I picked 5 but it could be somewhere between that and 7. I've only been playing for about 6 years. The first two years I didn't really try to improve just played. After that I started reading books. I've been through a ton of golf books and enjoy reading different ideas. I think I have a pretty good understanding of the swing and can usually pick out what I'm or others are doing wrong. Without video though its hard for me to see if I'm actually doing what my mind is saying I'm doing. Sometimes what you think you are doing may not be what is actually happening so I usually try to see a pro and get some feedback. Yesterday I got through most of a new book. The 7 laws of the golf swing by Nick Bradley. Its actually an excellent book with great visual images. Can't wait to finish it and put some of it to work.
