  1. 38 on the front nine today with my dad...
  2. 84 in an NJGC event today at Crooked Creek GC in Fuquay-Varina, NC. Missed getting a trophy by 1 stroke. it was a tough track, with trouble right left, and often times in the middle of the hole... Not your everyday avg. course
  3. 79.. had four lip-outs on the back nine, two were for birdie... It hurts man, lip-outs are painful. Only hit driver twice on the back, which really helped me keep it in the short stuff. Maybe I can beat my score 2marow.
  4. Don't feel bad. My team came in last in EVERY SINGLE MATCH this season. Even though my stroke avg. in competition was 84, our four man score for every tournament was up in the 390's+. wow....
  5. well i mean, other than golf sales around the US, it doesn't really matter. I geuss if people just don't want to play, your not gonna make em' play
  6. I own an Adams Ovation 21* 4 wood, but replaced it with a 3 iron hybrid recently. Still enjoy hitting it some though, just because of the high, but still long trajectory
  7. Yea i bought some Wilson Staff balls there today. They also had some titleist, callaway, precept, taylormade, and bridgestone, along with some nike one's. As far as a lot of the clubs... I'm not sure
  8. Lets see... Equipment so far- $740 on new clubs, probably about $300 on balls. Don't ride a cart much and get free range balls so don't really have a fee for the club, and my parents pay membership.... Food- Avg. 3 dollars per day, which would be about $1,200 a year i guess?? Apparel... wow. A LOT. i have spent $280 on shoes, and probably over $400 dollars on shirts. A big expense for me is gloves. I go through one like every week
  9. $170 for an Odyssey Marxman blade from Dicks
  10. The ball flight of a worn wedge could possibly be lower too, since the spin rate is lower. Just a logical geuss
  11. the blonde "Ashleigh n Ashley" girls are kinda annoying
  12. I started rite after my 12th b-day, and in about four months i think is when i broke 90. did it with a range ball too. haha
  13. I found some new Nike TW SP 8.5 Tour shoes on Golfshoesonly.com, and they were only $130! I was just posting this to let everyone know about the cheap shoes on GSO. Also, does anyone know where to get some cheap J. Lindeberg shirts. (Cheap meaning in the $60 and less range)
  14. Bob Rotella says a good drive keeps your high scores low, but good wedges and putting keep you low score even lower
  15. making a 15 footer for par to stay at -1 today. Although I bogeyed one of the last four hole, I was very pleased with a round of 36.
  16. Yea my stiff steel shafts seem to work well with me, and my driver speed is on average about 115, and from 150 i can either rip a PW, or hit a smooth 9. Just depends on what I feel like doing, or how much spin I want. As for improving swing speed, I bought a Speed Stik about four weeks ago, and my swing speed has already increased from 108, to 120+ if I go all out. So the Speed Stik really helps, and is supposed to be very accurate.
  17. I played in a junior tourney at TPC Wakefeild last week, and that round took 5:45. But it didnt seem too long because while we walked, other competitors and I talked a lot so it was all good
  18. had my best nine ever when I walked nine this afternoon. Shot an even par 36, beats my record by one. I kinda got pumped up b4 I went out by watching some Tiger highlights. haha
  19. Mine would be Footjoy Dryjoys that I payed 130 for back in Feburary.
  20. I like the J. Lindeburg clothes. If they weren't so expensive, I'd wear those clothes too. Pshh... I'd even break out a couple of Poulters outfits if I had em! Just minus the spiked hair... I can't go THAT far
  21. My home is links style. I like, but I also like traditional. It just kinda depends. But yes I think links courses let you be more creative with your shot-making. And thats fun to me
  22. 3i- 215-220 4i- 200-210 5i- 190-200 6i- 175-185 7i- 165-170 8i- 160-165 9i- 150-160 PW- 140-145 52- 120-125 56- 105-115
  23. I'm trying to think of an original mark for my ball. Since I play Srixon balls usually, I decided to draw the teeth on my ball like the srixon logo. I was just wondering what mark everyone else uses, or if you even mark your balls
  24. In person I've seen Natalie, Michelle Wie, Lorena, Maria Jose Uribe, and some guys on the Nationwide Tour, but none were outside of the ropes, except Maria Jose Uribe. I met her on the range at last years Womens U.S. Open
