Everyone has a cell phone, so everyone is a potential new customer to apple. Golf doesn't have hooks into the masses, they are trying to draw people in. There is no similarity between the 2.

Except in this case, you are trying to attract new consumers to an industry, not existing consumers toward a product.

Wow... that took balls. Coming out will definitely affect his draft position and his career... for better or worse. Smart to do it now though, teams know the controversy they're drafting, and teammates aren't in the dark. Could be a steal if he drops down past his projected slot!

Why not build an adult "executive" par 3 course with different par totals for different ages? It's the same thing, you're just allowing the family to play together. There's a par 3 in my area that caters to kids learning, and I plan on taking my kids out as soon as they're old enough. -

Manufacturer aside, get what you are most comfortable and confident with. If that's a $15 bargain bin find... or a $1,000 custom... doesn't matter if it works for you today.

I think the OP can be cut a little slack. I think we all hypothesize about golf like this in one form or another... we just don't create a revelation thread about it. My pondering always leads to up and downs as the key to good scoring. You can hit subpar shots all day, but if you get up and down from everything green side, you score well.
