  1. I dont know if you have a sports authority or sport mart, but i found some TaylorMade TP-Blacks for 25 a dozen and those are great golf balls.
  2. I like it! make a race track with all that land and haul butt around it in a 911 GT2....
  3. The impact fix works wonders, and this guy explains it pretty well...My old instructor taught me this and it worked great for me. Sorry if its a little confusing and tedious, but here is the gist- http://www.tomstickneygolf.com/Tips/Impact%20Fix.htm
  4. Well then your probably on the right track If it feels right, your probably doing it wrong. Keep it up man!
  5. thats what i'm talkin about! Speaking of vintage golf attire, my high school golf team had knickers for our uniforms one year, the hats, the plaid socks, the vests, it was dope to say the least.
  6. I picked choice two. I make sure I match and that I am wearing something suitable for a golf course, but I dont plan it out.
  7. Slightly Stoopid- 2 am...this song is bomb
  8. Id probably make a kick-butt range with numerous distances, nice shaped greens that are undulated and fast, and bunkers, so I can practice every shot I want.
  9. I've played it a few times. The front nine is much easier then the back nine. The course is in pretty nice shape and overall its a fairly nice course. Have fun!
  10. I put the putter between my legs like its a saddle on a horse and start galloping around the green..
  11. I talked to a guy at Callaway golf and he said the next driver following the FT-5 model should come out in january! Im saving up my dough...
  12. Same with Ben. Didnt carry a handicap as a kid. Started playing at 7 years old. When I was 13 I shot right around 100. High school freshmen year was the fifth man and shot high 80s low 90s. Junior and senior year of high school I was also captain on varsity, touched 70's, but usually shot low 80's. Ive drastically improved since graduating high school, working hardcore on my game, practicing almost every day, trying to improve to start winning some comps or possibly playing for my college, but everyone is so good!
  13. 1) Playing in the US Open extended the healing process, so... 2) He's put too much strain on it after playing for 5 days, not to mention against the doctors orders, so I think he will be out for a while, maybe coming back for the Open...but who knows, if he feels like playing before while he is still healing, then so be it, he can do what he wants. 3) I think Tiger needs to give the public some sort of details about the knee...he has been too secretive about it. If he just lays to rest the speculation, then everyone will get off his case and stop worrying about whats going on. I get annoyed when TGC talks about it non-stop, and an explanation from Tiger would decrease this nuisance!
  14. Haha! Good stuff! I still wouldnt mind having him as a caddy.

    Good Stuff

I thought it was a good read, just thought Id share.. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/colum...t&lid;=tab3pos2
  16. Haha! Thats funny right there. I agree with Iacas, the main cause is coming through the inside too much.
  17. Haha, sounded like an old guys head to me. You have a solid swing man. My usual miss is a hard hook, but I tend to push the ball too sometimes. Thats usually a result when my hips don't clear which causes the release to occur later, causing a push. Also, sometimes ill try to compensate for the push by swaying a little to my front side, and so I come across the ball and hit a cut or the hard hook I was talking about, depending on what my stupid hands are doing. When I start hitting a push or a fade, Ill shorten the swing and try to get everything back in unison which includes the hip, shoulder, and weight shift, which will usually get the impact position back to the right place.
  18. Okay I could see that...now that I think about it, Rocco probably would agree with Miller.
  19. Rocco played much more consistently then Tiger did, and I like seeing Tiger win, but I wish Rocco got this one. He deserved it just as much as Tiger did IMO, but unfortunately played all of those holes only 1 stroke worse! Hmm, thats golf, it comes down to one shot.
  20. I agree Subpar, hes gonna take a big break, probably till the Open like you said.
  21. True dat! I was really bummed I couldnt go, but I could practically hear the roars in my backyard. I got to watch the last couple holes of the playoff. Big props to Rocco for keepin up with Tiger for 18 extra holes. Tiger is not the best yet, but theres no doubt that he will be the greatest of all time. And hopefully the knee strain from the tournament didnt cause lasting damage. That would really suck if he had to shortside his career. I was way wrong on my predictions. I didnt think he would finish top ten and I was sure of it, but boy was I wrong...
  22. Hey man, seriously, if you want it bad enough and work hard enough, I wouldn't doubt you. If your really passionate and are willing to sacrifice a LOT of time and effort into becoming a pro, then go for it. Good luck man!
  23. I carry 4 wedges, and I like having the variety with those short shots.

    Let's go Rocco!

Yeah, Im hoping for a tight playoff tommorow. I just wanna see a good battle. I like both golfers and Rocco is really something and a ton of fun to watch. What crap about the knee is bothering you?
  25. I think it was cold when Miller said something along the lines of Rocco looking like he cleans Tiger's pool. Cmon now..I know he didnt mean much by it, but don't dis the guy because of his appearance...
