  1. Unless it will damage my club, I play it as it lies.
  2. Ping irons 2-PW, SW, SW3: 200.00 used 3w and hybrid: 75.00 Driver: free Putter: $69 (family member that wants your Ping putter that you can't get a feel for ftw) Golf bag: free (family member that wanted an easier bag to carry) Glove: 10.00 Golf shoes: 49.99 on sale Golf balls: 15.00/dozen (used ProV1x) Tees: 2.00 Practice balls: 9.99 Nifty Ping cap: 17.50 ___________________________ 449.50 (so far) Wow. I'm doing better than I thought.
  3. 19* hybrid 5i 7i PW Putter The reason being those are the clubs I KNOW I can hit reliably right now. The rest are still pretty inconsistent.
  4. Got out for 9 this afternoon. Shot a 50 and felt pretty good - I made a 15 foot putt for par on the last hole.
  5. Sorry I didn't see this reply before now. They had pretty much every driver they make. No putters though.
  6. Went to a Ping Demo Day today and found out that I'm really more suited for green dot than the red dots I've been playing with the last couple of months. I was talking to my cousin about it and he said "Oh, I have a set of old Ping irons that are green dot, come look at them - you can borrow them if you like 'em." Went over to his house, and they're green dot Ping irons all right.... Eye2+ BeCu 3-PW to be exact. They're in excellent shape - so nice, in fact, that I'm afraid to play with them for fear I'll ruin 'em.
  7. Hot-Z cart bag that was a hand-me-down. It's pretty nice but I think I'm going to go to one of the new Burton bags.
  8. About 2 months ago at 39. My uncle has been trying to get me to play for about 30 years and it finally stuck :)
  9. His advice was a hell of a lot more useful than yours. I can assure that when my handicap is lower (and it will be), I won't make jackass remarks like yours to struggling players.
  10. Upper left: Driver, 3-wood Upper Right: 19* hybrid, 3i Middle Left: 7i, 8i, 9i Middle Right: 4i, 5i, 6i Bottom Left: Putter (she gets her own home) Bottom right: PW, SW, SW3
  11. My goal is to break 90 by the end of the year. Hey, if it wasn't a tough goal it wouldn't be worth having, right?
  12. To be honest, they didn't have engine choices. In 2004, the car came with a 5.7 liter LS1. The 2005-2006 GTOs came with the LS1's replacement, the LS2 - which was a 6.0. Other than exterior color, the only options a GTO ever had were a choice of manual or automatic transmission and 17 or 18" wheels.
  13. It's a 5.7 - but don't believe the hype. There's no such thing as a slow GTO (and mine isn't stock anymore in any case)
  14. 2004 Pontiac GTO here. It'll hold 2 golf bags and it gets there at a pretty rapid rate :)
  15. I guess the governor of Louisiana and Ray "Chocolate City" Nagin are blameless in the whole affair, right?
  16. One pair right now, but I suspect that number will rise.
  17. Hi there from a fellow Georgian (and newbie). Warner Robins here.
  18. Hi there everyone. I just took up the game of golf a couple of months ago at the age of 39 (after chipping away in the backyard for years) - and now I am hooked.
  19. My issue with the whole "Tigh is a Cylon" thing is: he served for decades with Adama, right? I thought the Cylons didn't age. Wouldn't this have been noticed by all of the people he served with?
  20. I think Tiger is the greatest of this generation. To say that he is the greatest golfer ever, to me, is insulting to previous generations. I think Jack also had that "intangible" that Tiger currently possesses. Many golfers' games fell apart when the Golden Bear was on the attack.
  21. I teach technology and career education to middle school age children. As you might imagine, this creates a need to play golf on a regular basis :D
