  1. It is a beautiful course no doubt. I would still play it absolutely but having the history behind it does make it just a little more special. :)
  2. Going to be there the weekend of Memorial Day and was going to attempt to play there. Not Shenendoah course (PGA Level Course). Anyone ever play any of these courses? My wife is a near top rewards card holder (Sapphire Member) so we get discounts on golf. I will try anything even the Par 3 course I hear is nice. Anyone have any info on these courses let me know. Thank You.
  3. 2018 Golf Goal is to spend more time at the driving range. Not always hitting the driver but to utilize all the clubs in the bag.
  4. Honestly who cares really? We all $hit the same. I know it sounds crazy but I go in my thing and leave. Mens room women room who cares.
  5. I was rooting for Folwer to win because I really like him. However, Patrick Reed played a wonderful round and congrats to him. I know he has some personal issues to deal with but that is off the course.
  6. I personally have always enjoyed watching it. Some interesting fun and takes away from the always seriousness of the game. I am just glad these Pro Am's are not a monthly event. 1 week a year is enough for me.
  7. You should not travel anywhere then. Hitler in Germany. Stalin in Russia. Pol Pot in Cambodia. Castro in Cuba. Lets not forget the USA and all the bad things we have done along with many South American Countries that have had dictators. You should just stay home.... Save the world travel for us not so closed minded. Would I play on a Trump Course? Yes. Why not? I am a Golfer and I love to play different courses. I have never met Donald Trump. I have no hate for him. I will never vote for him. Gary Johnson has my vote. When I play golf I do not go asking who owns the course I am playing on. I personally do not care at all. If the course is good. Well it is good. If not I will not play there again. For the record I have never played on any of his courses but if I got around to it someday I would not be opposed to it.
  8. Good evening. I am doing research for a project in graduate school. Part of the project is finding out the cost of a golf course. Looking for real world numbers for a standard 18 hole par 72 course. Of course design and location all a part of it as well. If anyone has any information it would be great. The company we are working close with is E-Par. (A environmental management tool for calculating risk. If anyone is interested in that). Thank You. ~The Bogey Guy.
  9. I really do not like this because they are all so damn good. If I had to choose I would say Paul Lawire in the 1999 British Open.
  10. What do you do for a living? I am currently self employed... I own multiple income property. I manage all my own units and hire for large jobs. I also flip single family homes on the side as well.
  11. First time out this spring on Sunday. 18 Holes. Shot a solid 95... No balls lost, a couple of pars and straight line drives. I cannot complain at all.
  12. The entire meal. Everything from the Turkey to the home made rolls to even the glass of wine to go with it. Thank God it only comes once a year.
  13. Played a very special round of Golf today. My uncle who passed away loved to play golf. After the funeral we all ate, drank and played a round at his favorite golf course in memory of him. 18 Holes shot 89. Kept my head down, played with a real purpose and did it for him. He would be proud.
