  1. Most of the Chicago hub (CCHIL) is automated. That will get you a visit from the FBI. My employer is not perfect. If you want cheap and don't care when it gets there go with the Post Office. If you want to pay for the upcoming Fed Ex Cup, ship with Fed Ex. If you live in a zip code that is not a high crime zone the package will be discreetly put on your porch. If you know you won't be home and it is supposed to be delivered that day you can leave a note to deliver it to your neighbor. If we had to deliver to the recipient only when they were home we would never get any packages delivered. For the amount of packages we ship our time in transit is second to none. I'm part of that supply chain.
  2. That didn't happen. You steal something as an employee of UPS you will get caught. The tracking alone will get you caught. They know almost every person that touched that package. And then when you get caught you will be arrested by the FBI. Interstate shipments are a Federal crime. It does happen, but I've nobody gets away with it.
  3. If he could putt he might have a Masters win (missed a 4 foot eagle putt on 15) and a US Open ( a 3 putt and a bogey from 4 feet) win. I love the guy but he misses too many short putts. He kind of reminds me of Langer.
  4. I watched an interview with his teacher Rick Smith the other day. He said that losing all that weight has messed with his muscle memory. I'm not agreeing with his behavior at all. Especially when he putted a moving ball at Pinehurst #2 in the US Open. He has so much talent. When he won the Buick at Torrey about 3 years ago I figured he's back. That bunker shot on 18 in the fourth round was beautiful. Obviously though he was not back. Today he said he was not hitting it well in the practice rounds. I also think he should have withdrawn before the tournament began.
  5. I like what Tiger said. "That's stupid long." This guy makes Tiger look like Corey Pavin.
  6. Johnny Miller said this about 2 or 3 years ago. If you slowed these greens down more these guys wouldn't make these 6-10 footers like tap ins. Makes a lot of sense to me. I hate slow greens. The further I take the putter back the more I push or pull the putt.
  7. I'm time shifting on the Tivo. Vij just knocked another one close, boy he's playing good.
  8. I noticed it last week at Firestone. I'm shocked he ever played a Wilson Driver. I hit a bunch of them and never found one that ever felt good.
  9. My biggest obstacle is getting out of bed on the weekday. I don't get home till about midnight and getting up to play the next day, when I really don't have to is tough. On the weekend I have friends counting on me to show up. But on the weekday it's just playing. No obligations, no games or teams.
  10. I would have to say it's a tie between the Titleist Pro V1 and the Callaway HX Tour. In my humble opinion, my handicap isn't good enough to say one ball is better than another one. My ballflight isn't consistant enough. I do like to play a harder ball like the Taylor Made TP or Pro V1X on softer greens. But that's because I hate it when I hit the front of a green and it spins back off into the rough.

    To:

To Phil Mickelson Stop thinking! Just play golf. You're too much like me. Even though we kinda look alike (So I'm told), you and I overthink everything. That's why you're not winning and I'm not scratch. If we would just go play "our game" you would win more and I would shave those last few strokes.
  12. I really like the UST I Rod shafts I have in mine. I wonder if they even make them anymore.
  13. I would have to go with Camilo. He finished last season hot and seems to be playing well this season also. Now that he's over the hump of winning I think he has the confidence to win a major.
  14. I think Phil is getting too technical. When he was younger he was a pretty good feel player getting up and down from everywhere. Now he seems to not get up and down. Missing putts from 6 feet like they were 16 feet. In my opinion he needs to not think and just go play. I said that on his website.
  15. I could be wrong but it was not long ago that he was sponsored by Ping. I wonder if that was a short contract?
  16. If you like the wedge alot you can get it re-grooved. It's not very cost effective though. For another $50 you can just buy a new one.
  17. I've been using a belly putter for about 5 years now and won't go back. It's almost like legally cheating. With a long putter you can lower the percentages of a miss. Too many things can go wrong with a regular putter. This game is hard enough. We have technical advantages with every other club why not a putter.
  18. After reading A Good Walk Spoiled I would never want to do that. The pressure on those guys is incredible. You think a 4 footer to win a nassau is bad, try making the cut to get to the next stage.
  19. He's incredible. He's playing pretty good. Ride the high tide while you can. Pretty soon he'll be in obscurity on the Senior Tour.
  20. I have this theory that if you cant put your tee shot to the fairway bunkers you shouldn't be playing from those tees. If you are blowing them past the bunkers you're too far up. I very seldom play from the tips. It has to be dry and the ball running. If you're taking the hazards out of the game there is no premium for hitting the fairway, other than a good lie.
  21. I think everything has to be put into perspective. Today I played with a friend and it started raining. The whole front nine was played in the rain. We had a friendly nassau going and we didn't care about score. We were just playing each other battling for bogeys. There was so much casual water everywhere it was almost impossible to score.
  22. I'm watching on ESPN right now.
  23. It definitely makes your mis hits less tragic.
  24. Well if they keep it up I'll turn it off. I will also tell ESPN that I did. Not that they care.
  25. I don't care much for the top line on the MP-57's, That's why I'll stick with my irons. A guy I play alot with at my home club has the MP-57's and I hit them just as good as the 67's. I just like a thinner top line.
