  1. I don't think anything about it. I have used yellow ones, but rarely buy any.
  2. I keep a dozen or so in my bag. Most are new with a 2 or 3 old ones just for hitting extra practice shots when playing by myself. During a normal round I use a couple.
  3. If I Win I'll choose the Pure DTX (Black) to start my 2015 golf season with a PURE advantage! Koepka, Brooks -9 Rose, Justin -9 Snedeker, Brandt -9
  4. lol. I'm not a lawyer, but it reads that way to me. One thing about it, its doubtful Reed will ever push the envelope on tour because there will be plenty of eyes on him. Heck, with tv there are plenty of eyes on everyone.
  5. I think a lot of newcomers are happy with top 20 finishes. Many are just trying to get established and make enough money to hold onto their tour cards. Perhaps some of those carry that mindset with them throughout their career. But I have to believe most want to win once established on tour.
  6. No. But several years ago I bought some illegal golf balls just for the heck of it. They did live up to the hype and I got about 20 extra yards. I had a good time with them as my buddies wondered what in the heck was going on. Got away with it for just a few holes though. Ha.
  7. Played 9 holes today and shot a 40 with one birdie. The course was wet wet wet. But beat not being able to play at all. Just rejoined my club so looking forward to lots of golf this year. Last year I only played 40 rounds or so. Bought a condo on the AL coast so just got into other stuff. But ready to get back at it. Still have the condo, but committed to playing more golf. At my age(60), I better get at it before the old body gives out on me. ;)
  8. Agree. I think we see who the ignorant one is here.
  9. Although Watson didn't show it, I'm sure he didn't care for Phil's comments. In another poll I saw basically asking the same question, almost 90% voted that Phil should have kept his mouth shut. The poll had over 6k voters.
  10. Nothing to think about. Its not as hard as some of you want to make it. Play good golf, you win.
  11. Agree. The pod system might be a good way to help certain players bond better, but it comes down to playing golf. The Euros played better. That's the bottom line.
  12. Yes and he always ends it on a high note like some kid in grade school. Not a fan either.
  13. Had one of my best rounds in about a year this morning. A -2 70. Haven't been playing as much as when I first retired in 2007. But enjoying it more when I play just a couple of times a week. Easier to stay focused. So a new concept.....play less and shoot better scores. ;)
  14. I hate to hear this. If true, what a black mark on Phil and the pga tour. I know it has nothing directly to do with the tour, but Phil has always been considered the shining face of the tour. Certainly not something you want your elite players to be a party of. Going to interesting how this all plays out.
  15. That's possible. Time will tell. He may regain his strength, but the better question is.....what will be his next injury? Over the last 6 years he has had several. Knee, achilles heel and of course his back. With his history, no reason to think they are going to stop at this point.
  16. Maybe Michelle could teach Rory her putting setup and stroke.
  17. Totally agree. Talks way too much. Thank goodness we don't have to listen to his nonsense at the Masters.
  18. None really. There are some things about certain golfers I don't like. Furyk backing off on putts and Bradley going through his rocking motion when standing behind his golf ball. But both seem like good guys so I like them fine other than their quirkey traits.
  19. Ryan Moore -13 Y.E. Yang -13 K.J. Choi -13
  20. If he finds some kind of treatment like Couples did a year or two ago, its possible he could gain enough relief to allow him to feel well enough to win another major. But I doubt it also. It wouldn't surprise me to see him hang it up if he continues to struggle with his back.
  21. Masters: Jason Day U.S. Open: Rory Mcilory Open: Adam Scott PGA: Webb Simpson
  22. I have no idea what endorsement deals he had, but they are probably gone.
  23. Great match. Victor comes away with a lot of new fans. He will also get all the sponsor invites he wants on the PGA tour.
  24. Played 9 holes this morning and shot a 3 over 39. Only the 3rd time I have been able to play in the last 6 weeks or so due to the weather. The temp was in the low 40's but didn't seem all that bad. Had to hit almost 2 more clubs though. Tired of the wet and cold weather.
  25. A low fade with an iron.
