  1. Yeah, a little too easily. If you don't install the grip with solvent and tape the grip will come off mid-swing. Trust me...
  2. Forget buying tees. I get my tees from all the lazy people who leave them behind when they're done on the range.
  3. I've tried this numerous times. It almost never comes off like you'd want it to. For the price of a grip, it's 10000x easier just to cut it off and put a new one on. Unless that grip has some sort of sentimental value to it...?
  4. Playing bogey golf, I'd say you're ready to step into a forged cavity back. The Titleist 775s might be a good choice. Forged, cavity forgiving, but no shovel GI look. Of course there are countless options, but I'm a Titleist guy, so that's what I'll suggest.
  5. Maybe a 909D2. But other than that, probably just the bag itself. I work at a golf course so I don't ever have the need for a stand bag. A nice Titleist Midsize staff bag would be nice.
  6. Cameron putters brand new for $109 + free shipping? Something fishy going on here...
  7. I can rep for the Taylormade high launch burners. Very easy to hit off of the deck. I just picked up some Titleist 906F2's but I can't try them out till Christmas. I noticed a majority of the Titleist tour players were still playing this wood, even though the 909F series have been out for a while, figured there must be something good about them.
  8. Their classic pale ale is great. Any particular reason you're staying away from the wheat? Personally for me, the taste of wheat beer is fine. For whatever reason though, it always ends up giving me a horrible hangover, and I'm not really the type to complain about hangovers. Even if i just have a few wheat beers, I end up with a pounding headache the next day. It's pretty strange, really.
  9. I'm a Titleist guy, and I've yet to hit anything of theirs that I didn't like. However, as a former Vokey owner, I've got to say I like the Mizuno wedges better. I still have a 200 series Vokey gap wedge that's laying around somewhere, replaced by the Mizzy. My buddy just got a new set of Vokey SMs. I have no problems with them, they're nice clubs, but I really think the Mizunos are the better wedge. I play the Rifle Spinner on my SW, and a DG Wedge for my Gap.
  10. Oscar Blues makes one of my favorite Pale Ales.
  11. This brew is a darker roasted lager, with some cascade hops thrown in during the boil. We do keg the beer though, and force carbonate it with CO2.
  12. Yeah. My buddy has been doing it for years, and I'm usually along for the process. It's pretty easy, assuming you have all of the proper equipment. The only bad part is the waiting. We brewed a batch on Monday and it probably won't be completely ready to drink till February. We've found that the longer you let the beer sit and ferment, the better it tastes. One of our biggest problems was having that "skunked" beer taste. If you let it sit in the fermenter for long enough, we found that the yeast goes into survival mode and starts eating all of the bacteria that causes that skunked taste. As for my taste in beer, I can't get enough of the bittery hoppy pale ales. I've tried just about everything, with an open mind at that. It's the IPAs and EIPAs that win it for me. EDIT: That said, I'll drink anything. My staple, however, is Yuengling. It's the least expensive full flavored beer that can be had just about anywhere, so it's almost always my weekend beer of choice.
  13. Looks like Phil Mickelson's putter. I know whatcha mean with the club shopping problem. I'm on a constant search, looking for a good deal for no real reason lol.
  14. Twin Rivers. Just a few minutes from UCF in Oviedo.
  15. I usually find ProV1s for putting and wedge shots. I work at a golf course so I find a bunch of them while I'm out there, but generally use them sparingly. ...That is until this older fella on craigslist sold me 100 ProV1s and ProV1xs for $20.
  16. Agreed. My friends father (also a single-digit handicapper) bought a set of either S59s or S57s this year and wasn't very impressed with them. Also, they have a dampener in the cavity if memory serves me correctly.
  17. I can't account for the S59's or the mp30s, but I can say that I was very impressed with the 735cms. They are a bit heavier than the 755s and 775s, but the feel when striking the ball is almost identical. I figured I'd give them a shot (for $150 shipped, why not?) although I was really looking for a set of Mizunos or more recent Titleist clubs. Ended up being so happy with them that I kept them. I love having the split set.
  18. Agreed. Although I have to say I like my Mizuno wedges more so than the Vokeys I've owned. Just don't like the cast look.
  19. This. I got this bag because of the requirements I had (which nearly matched yours). It has 14 full length dividers, is light, has shoulder straps which easily snap away to a single shoulder strap, and looks great. The only difference is the that the one I got is called the Nike Pro Tour Combo. It is identicle to the Sasquatch, but I got it on eBay for much cheaper, brand new. It's storage is perfect, especially with the cooler pocket. The only I gripe I have is that in the cart, it doesn't fit that great unless it's turned slightly sideways (as stated in the quoted post).
  20. Wait.. Was there some sort of discrete punchline that I missed?

    NBA Finals

Wow. The Lakers didn't even show up tonight. The 4th quarter is especially pathetic.
  22. A great show, despite their harsh criticism towards all things American. Regardless, I still love the show. I wish I had BBC America here.
  23. Haha. So true.

    Undies

Boxers. Always. Anything else feels completely ridiculous.
