  1. After reading the post about a new driver or GPS and the fact I have been reading too much on all of the new drivers coming out... How long do the majority of golfers keep using a driver? I understand the argument of if it ain't broke... And I get the "want the latest and greatest"... But, I am looking for honest answers concerning tech advances and so on.
  2. I got my email today, has anybody got the club yet?
  3. If you love it, send it in to the custom shop and get it "pimped"!! (No disrespect to any actual pimps on this board.)
  4. I like to read it about once or twice a year.
  5. Welcome to the forum. I haven't played much in Indy. Would like to, but haven't yet.
  6. Pretty good, I fell asleep before it came on. Thanks for posting.
  7. Average 150, the max is 162.
  8. When I have problems on the back I can usually point to one of a few problems. The last time the back hurt me was because my legs were shot. I played late in the day (walking), after a long day on my feet. I just had no legs left to play golf with.
  9. I have read it many times. It calms and gets your mind right. I am do to read it again, and soon!
  10. I want one. They are pretty damn neat, I don't care who you are.
  11. welcome!!
  12. Here is the thing about quitting, for me anyway. I chewed for a lot of years. I am 34 now, started in the 4th grade. Chewed most (95%) of those years. I quit once about 8 years ago for 2 years - 2 years with out any tobacco. One chew after hitting the bars and I was back full time. I quit Jan. 1, 2009 - for good. If you want to quit here is the secret. 1. You have to want to quit for you, not for anyone or for anything else. 2. You can not quit tobacco by using other forms of your favorite. 3. Tell everybody that you quit and not to let you bum. 4. Next to #1, the most important, Do Not Buy Any Tobacco.
  13. I agree with this post entirely!
  14. Chris Baker, former ISU golfer is from my hometown. Hello to you from Baker's hometown!
  15. Northern Ireland

  17. I really just like water or Gatorade. On the rare occasion that I drink alcohol on the course, Coors Light. It is pretty close to water
  18. POtY - good as anybody. He was pretty fun to watch. The episode of Playing Lessons which featured him is my favorite.
  19. No, I might question why you would say something like that.
  20. Dgolfer - The Scotty thing is for some and not for others. I bought one 7 or 8 years ago, had no business with a $300 putter, maybe I still don't... I love it though. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. It is really all about personal preference. Go play with one and figure it out for yourself, whether you would benefit from one or not. I love mine!
  21. It might be that you are entering 9 hole scores, instead of 18 - a full round.
  22. The head never came flying off, but it had enough movement that you could hear and feel it!
  23. A couple of weeks ago, I was in golfsmith and demoed i10s and AP1s. The AP1 demo club was the club that they assemble. When the guy handed me the club, I noticed that head moved around alot. I made a few swings, but that loose head really had me torn up. When I questioned the guy about it. He said that is the way it is. Now, I am basing my new iron purchase on that experience. I did really like the i10s, but I cannot believe that the AP1 was set up correctly. Have any of you guys ran into this? Do any of you know what he might have done wrong? Thanks, John
  24. Mike, I like the way you think. Everybody else, thanks for the replys. I think staying away from those people is a good idea.
  25. Most of the time, when I play with guys that I do not know - it is an enjoyable experience. I am really talking about people that you do know, the ones that when you run into, they ask to play sometime or they see you getting ready to tee off and want to join you. It is the guys you know fairly well and can not believe they act like that, but you do not know them well enough to say "Hey man - knock it off". And if it happens once, is it going to happen everytime? I don't think so, so at what point do you say, I would rather not play with you untill you get that stinking temper under control.
